Tia pov.
The Bad Boy. Every school has one, but I would like to think that our schools is a little extra special. You see, our local, bad to the bone, rebel is none other than Percy Jackson. Messy black hair, covered in scars and tattoos, always late to class, just your regular local bad boy. That is unless you look beyond appearances he fights for animal rights, helps kids out that are being bullied, and is an actually decent student. But most people don't look beyond appearances, that's why I'm not telling you mine.

On today like any other day, Percy was riding down the hall on his skateboard by the looks of it trying to get to class and dodge people all at once. He didn't seem to have very many friends if any at all and I think that's part of the reason rumors are spectated so much about him. Some like "He killed four people", and "I heard he does drugs."

Although I'm fairly sure neither of those things have ever happen there has been worst said about Percy. He's sort of a loner at this school. He stays away from all the different cliques.

The one rumor that's always gets to me is that he's a womanizer. I honestly don't see Percy Jackson as a womanizer! He clearly respects women and I have never seen him with a girl. I have heard some of the girls saying they have slept with him but it just doesn't seem likely.

At lunch he was sitting by himself per usual, but something was different in the air. This is the start of how the whole schools perceptive of Percy Jackson changed forever or at least it seemed like it at the time.

*A few girls in sliver clothing walked in to the lunch room and a sort of silence fell over the lunch room. One of the girls, a girl with black spiked hair and dark electric blue eyes, shot an arrow at him. Percy turned around and caught it so fast no one even saw him move.

He then called out, "Really, Thalia, really!?"

She stomped her way up to him and slapped him across the face. She then said eyes narrowed, "That's for being an idiot!"

She slapped him again and said, "That's also for being an idiot!"

She slapped him yet again and said, "That's for stealing my knife!"

She slapped him one last time. His cheek now red, and said, "And that's because I want to slap you again!"

Percy laughed, and said, "You are the best cousin ever, Thalia." Then, he hugged her.

Everyone was still silent watching the two intensely. Thalia pulled out of the hug and said, "My knife now, Percy."

"Alright, alright." He said pulling out the knife and dropping it in her hand.

"Thanks," Thalia said. She then left. After leaving Percy chucked nervously before getting up to leave the whole cafeteria staring at him still.

The next big thing that happened was in Paul Blofis's  class. Paul had this thing were if a phone rings in his class you got to answer it.

Percy had already showed up late and got a scornful look from Paul and now his phone was ringing. He was staring so intensely at his homework that he didn't even notice!

Paul went over and crouched beside him and said in a soft voice, "Percy, your phones' ringing. You know the rules you have to answer it."

Percy looked up at him confused before realizing what he had said. He nodded before reaching down in his bag to grab the small out dated device. No one in the school even know that Percy had a phone.

Answering it, Percy said in a tone of voice that was as soft as the wind, "Hello?"

A voice from the phone said, "Perc man, it's bad I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. It's Nico dude, he's hurt real bad. You know how he is always taking walks in the woods by himself. He got jumped by something. Oh man it's bad really bad. Will's flipping out. Dude, we need you here and fast. I'm so sorry. I know he's like a brother to you."

Percy looked down in something that's between a sad look and an anger one. He looked up at Paul and we could all see the slight tears in his eyes. He said to the small device, "I'll be there in ten."

Then he hang up and Paul nodded. Percy jumped out of his seat and grabbed his stuff. On his rush out the door, Paul called out to him, "Forgetting something?"

Percy turned around and eyes searching the room frantically. Paul smiled fondly and said, "Your going to need these." And tosses him car keys.

Percy caught them and smiled before saying, "Thanks Paul. Please tell Mom that I'm sorry and I will be back as soon as possible and tell her I love her. Just in case, you know."

Paul nodded again and Percy was gone.

After that Percy was missing for about a week. Everyone was beginning to think he was either in a gang or dead. Some both.

When Percy finally came back he look worn and tired. He sat by himself still, but he just didn't seem himself. He was quieter and less full of life.

A blonde girl transferred to our school soon after and sat down at his table. The whole cafeteria was silent once again. Percy looked up at her and smiled softly.

She smiled back and asked, "Miss me?"

He smiled a grin that was well know around the school, but I think this time it was a little more real and said, "Always."

Pretty soon, Percy and the girl were everywhere together. So maybe just maybe the bad boy wasn't as bad as we all thought. Then again some still think he's in a gang, but I believe that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
