Chapter 3

^Mackenzie's wolf^

Kylie POV

It was actually really fun letting Ellie out for a bit and let the wind blow against my fur. Me and Grayson was just running around chasing each other and i mind linked him asking to catch me and he replied with game on and if he was in his human form he would have a massive smirk plastered across his face.

So as soon as I suggested the idea i went sprinting on all fours into the forest but i could still hear his paws thumping across the floor behind which meant he was hot on my heels so I tried to push my self further and faster but failed when he jumped on my back pinning me to the floor.

'Come back to the pack house as its dinner' my father mind linked me.

'ok' I said back.

So i shifted back to my human form and told Gray the plan.

"Ok, and why did you think you could out run an alpha?" He asked putting his clothes on the we stack in the trees for when we shift back from our wolf forms.

"Ahhh that's the thing your aren't alpha until Sunday" I said smirking at him.

"That's in two days so technically i am alpha" He said sticking his tongue out.

"Yes exactly it's in two days so you're not alpha just yet" I argued back still smirking.

He just huffed in defeat and we sped back to the pack house and everyone in the pack was their. When we walked in all eyes was on us so i guess they were just waiting on us. Oops.

As we sat down in our seats our parents were looking at us and i could down dad wanted to say something as he was trying to quickly swallow the food that he had in his mouth.

"So what took you two so long to get here?" He said narrowing his eyes.

"We had a little argument" I said looking at him smirking.

"Oh i see, may i ask what about?" I nodded my head.

Just as i was beginning my speech everyone looked at me including Grayson.

"Ok so when we shifted back to our human forms he looked at me and said ' do you really think you could outrun an alpha' and I told him he wasn't alpha until Sunday and we kept arguing until he gave in and sighed in defeat and now that i'm telling you this he's sitting in his chair other their acting like a little child because he doesn't like to be defeated in an argument and he obviously didn't want anyone to know and now the whole pack knows" I exclaimed while taking a huge breath.

Everyone took one look at both of and started laughing while i just sat there smirking at him.

"I gotta say son, she's right," my dad said while laughing.

"Dad your not helping" He huffed.

I was trying so hard not to laugh but my dad was making it so hard and so was Grays responses.

"Don't you dare laugh otherwise i'll ram a lamp so far up your nose that it will knock the living day lights out of you" He said glaring at me.

"Well maybe you shouldn't of started something you couldn't finish" I said smirking. Again.

"Mom have we got any lamps?" He asked mom innocently and then his lips turned into a smirk when he seen my reaction.

"Yes there is one in the lounge" She said chuckling.

Then she realised what he said before and her mouth formed an O shape while she covered her mouth with her mouth realising what she just told him while people of the pack starting choking on their food laughing. When i looked over to gray he was already looking at me smirking and started to stand up making his way to the lounge.

"Mom??" I said still in shock.

"omg i am so sorry i just realised what he said?" She said.

Instead of replying to her and jumped up so fast and sprinted to the lounge to see Gray standing their holding a lamp. I was about to beg him to put it down my dad came in laughing trying to tell him to put it down but just laughed harder. I couldn't believe this so i  stomped upstairs and slammed the door shut and sat on the bed.

Not even a minute later i heard a knock on my door but i ignored whoever it was. Whoever it was they were probably coming up to apologise for laughing.

"Ky open up" I just rolled my eyes since it was Grayson and unlocked the door letting him in.

He walked in trying not to laugh.

"Oh so it's ok for you to laugh when I get embarrassed but it's not ok for me to laugh when you do and get threatened with a fucking lamp" I said running my hand through my hair in frustrated.

"I know and i'm sorry... can you please forgive me... i can't stand having my sister, my bestfriend mad at me?" He asked with fucking puppy eyes. Ugh. He knows i can't resist them.

"Fine" I said smiling and walked over to him giving him a hug.

"Thank you Ky Ky" I smiled at the little nickname he gave me.

We both went downstairs and i gave everyone a nasty glare making a few people chuckle including my parents. I just went back to my seat and started eating again as if nothing happened.

A few hours later  

The pack finally went to the homes and so that gave me the chance to go up to my room and take a refreshing shower and go to bed since my head is hurting from all the drama that happened during the dinner.

As i was about to drift off to sleep my door opened and i felt my bed dip.

"Ky Ky you still awake?" I heard someone ask.

I sat up in my bed realising that the voice came from Grayson.

"Yeh" I said smiling.

"I just wanted to thank you" He said with a cheesy grin on his face.

"For what" 

"For giving me the position of the alpha that i've wanted to be since i was nine years old" He said giving me a smile.

"Grayson I would never take the position away from you" I said hugging him.

He smiled at me and nodded then kisses me goodnight (on the cheek) and walked out closing the door behind him.

As soon as my head hit the pillow again I drifted off into a deep sleep.
