When you first go to an manga section either in a bookstore or in a library, you'll see hundreds of books! So what should you start with? Here are a few suggestions;
1.) Azu Manga Dioh; a light hearted series about six girls and their teachers as they go through high school and try to get into collage!
2.) Fruits Basket; A story about a girl who lost her family and home and now lives with a family who carries a dark secret!
3.) Happy Cafe; A story about a short sixteen year old who starts working at a cafe with a weirdo and demon king (not literally, sorry.) and Mr. Nankichi, the man who runs it all!
4.) Naruto; A book about ninja trainees, haven't gotten past the third book yet, but I'm lovin' it! (And hating Mc. Donalds...)
5.) Flower in a Storm; a funny book about a rich guy who falls in love with a girl who don't like him very much, and just wanted to be normal. (More of a girly story...)
6.) Lucky Star; I haven't seen it, but a reader suggested it! They said it was a very good choice and easy to read and understand, simple format and insight to Japanese culture. :3 (Thank you for recomending this!!)
These here are jus' some books ya'll can start out wit! Enjoy, you can always start with something you want to.
(Not making fun of people who really speak like this. :3)
