Ch. 16 (Beware! A fight is upcoming!)

~Reader's Pov~

"Ah, So you finally show yourselves?" I chuckle to myself, "Give me a challenge." I purr at them, The sound ninja have revealed themselves. "Funny. I was about to say the same thing." I deadpan at their stupidity, "You guys are lame." I say in a blunt tone and roll my eyes, They glare at me, My eyes flash purple and red sadistically. "You just made the biggest mistake you ever did in your lives." I Cheshire grin makes it to my face as I wave my finger sassily, I teleport right in one of their faces, "Are you ready to play?" I asked him, He gulped and stepped back a little. "Alrighty! Let's have some fun!" I say and crack my knuckles harshly making a loud 'Pop' noise.

"We will win." One of them confidently says, "Your lives." I say and they raise and eyebrow, "I'm waiting." I said and they scramble around to see who will make the first move. They step forward, "Ah, I see, You did see the paper bomb but you also didn't want the squirrel to set off that trap." He says, I scoff, "I didn't even know their was a trap there." He widens his eyes, "Then....Who...?" Sakura smirks, He cuts a wire as a huge log comes from the trees aiming right for them. "Nice try." He makes a hand sign while the log breaks into two, While they dropped their guard I run up and jump into the air kicking both of them in the gut, They fly backwards into the third. I grin when I see a green blob come into view, The ninja run at me again but are stopped by that same green blob, "Leaf hurricane!" He shouts, "Let's get em' lee!" He looks at me while blushing with a thumbs up. "Yes! Let us fight!" He shouts back, "But wait, Why are you helping me?" I asked him with confusion warped into my voice, "Because I told you I will always protect you, Didn't I?" I smiled and nodded, "You sure did lee." I get into battle stance, The weird old man with the hunch back goes first, "Ah, Shouldn't you be retired you old fart?" I say and he growls, "I'm not that old..." He mumbles to himself, "Well excuse me Mr. Hunchback." I reply back, 'When it comes down to it and you need insults to effect the mind I'm your girl.'

Lee starts to unravel his bandages, I widen my eyes, "Lee, You know it's forbidden." I say hoping to change his mind. "No. Gai-Sensei told me only to use this when I have met one condition. I have met that condition." A look of confusion comes to my face but I shrug it off, "Then you better be ready to kick butt." I yell out and smirk. "That one condition is : To protect the life of someone precious!" He shouts out, A shocked look comes to my face, "P-precious....No one has ever called me that before..." I mumbled to myself, Lee makes a two fingered hand sign near is mouth and runs at the guy with the hunchback. "He disappeared!" The guy said, Lee reappeared under the hunchback and kick him straight in the jaw. The hunchback jumped back into the air, Lee went up behind him still in the air, "There is no running from me!" He yelled at him, His bandages unraveled itself on his left arm, "Be careful!!" I yelled out at him and he looked my way smiling at me. His bandages wrapped around Mr. Hunchback and I smirked, 'Just keep fighting on lee!'

"Wait a minute!" They stopped and looked at me, "Your the ninja who helped me out with kabuto! Why are you doing this?" I asked him and he looks at me with his eyes widened, "Your that girl?" I deadpanned, "Didn't I just say that?" He looked away slight stunned, I went to Mr. Hunchback and whispered, "Just because you work with orchimaru doesn't mean you get free passes with everybody." I state, I growl at myself saying that snake perverts name, "How do you-" I shake my head, "Resume lee." And he nods and starts to spin himself along with Mr. Hunchback and but his teammate HAS to interrupt, "Can't you just stay out of it!" I yell as irk marks appear of my face. Thanks to that wretched teammate of his Mr. Hunchback survived.
