Ashlyn's pov
I'm really nervous as I walk into my new school for the first time since I've moved to Omaha. As I walk into the main building I see the different cliques. There's the jocks, the popular, the nerds, the outcasts, the Emos etc. You see I don't fall into any of those categories I'm just me. Yeah I play volleyball and basketball but I'm not an athlete. I just play those occasionally. But now I'm in the building and I notice there's a kid in there looking really cute his jawline could cut anything that comes in contact with it. But I'm not here for boys I'm here for and education. Stay focused Ashlyn stay focused. I decide to go to the desk and ask to speak to my counselor which it says is mr. peak on my schedule. So as I walk to the front desk I run into someone
" oh my god I'm sooo sorry" I say
" oh it's no problem, I'm jack, Johnson most call me" this guy I presume to be Johnson says
" yeah I'm new I'm Ashlyn nice to meet you..... uh Johnson?"
" ohhh pretty name and yeah call me Johnson do you need me to guide you anywhere around?"
" can you just tell me where I can find mr. peak?"
" oh his room is right around the corner but he's just going to show you around I can do that. I'm mean if you'd allow me that"
Is he flirting with me or just being nice
" okay yeah I guess you could show me around. "
" okay well we'll meet up with my boys an we will show you around okay?"
" okay"
I follow him to his friends and the boy I saw earlier was there
" hey man where have you been?" The dark haired kid said
" I ran into Ashlyn and we are going to show her around"
"Okay that's okay let us introduce ourselves, I'm Nate but most call me skate"
"I'm jack- "
"Wait I thought Johnsons name was jack?"
"Haha yeah that's why people call him by his last name because we're best friends and have the same name." The other jack says
Ohhh okay this is making sense
" okay continue"
"And I'm Sammy but people call me Sam"
Well they are all pretty cute but damn jack is fine.
