~Alexandra's POV~

So many thoughts race through my head as I slowly back away from Edward, too afraid to run.
"Go away, Edward. You can't hurt me. I'm already dead. And it's because of you."
I can't bear to hear her say such a thing, even if it is true.
"You may be, Alexandra, but I'm not. Please, just stop."
He fell to his knees as if groveling for even a small hint of trust.
"You didn't give me mercy, Edward. So why should I give you any?"
He slowly rose from his position and backed away, as if he was too overwhelmed to answer the question. But slowly, he opened his mouth and spoke.
"Because this is the only place that I ever want to be. This is my home now, Alexandra." He started faintly sobbing as he continued to answer my question. "Why shouldn't I take this opportunity to kill two birds with one stone?"
"What are the birds?" I am confused at what problems he is defeating by being here.
"The first bird is you. I want to be able to have you in my life, but I didn't know how. So instead of having to figure out how to 'raise you from the dead' or something, I came here."
Wow. He came here for me. But why did he kill me? Why would he do that when he claims that he loves me?
"Then what was the second st-"
He ran up to me and pulled my face close to his. I, being less than an inch from his beautiful, shining eyes, wanted to pull away, but I couldn't. Don't ask me why. I have no idea to this day.
"That doesn't matter right now. I don't care about that." He didn't look so certain of that, but at that moment I was too shocked to notice. So I let him continue. "What matters is that you're here, and I'm here, and we can be together. I don't care if I can't see you. I will always love you, no matter how much it seems that I don't."
I thought about this for what seemed like an eternity to me, but was only a few seconds to everyone else.

~Edward's POV~

Suddenly, she opened her mouth to speak, but it was as if the words were caught in her mouth. I felt her skin begin to transform into nothingness and saw her eyes, wide with fear, start to disappear.
"ALEXANDRA! NO! You must not be able to maintain a physical form for this long. ALEXANDRA! DON'T GO! PLEASE! DON'T DO THIS TO ME! Not again!"
I fell to the ground, her arms being the only thing that was supporting me, and sobbed. I looked up at her, and the only thing that I heard was a faint sound come from her mouth. Muffled, I could not understand it, but heard exactly this: "Hi horvive ooh."
It may seem as Gibberish to you, but coming from her sweet lips, it was a blessing in disguise.
