Crap! We are in so much trouble. How could I lose track of time. Mom and dad are going to kill us. Maybe they won't notice. As we walked in the front door mom and dad were standing side by side. "Where have the two of you been it is 30 minutes passed your curfew?" Mom asked with her your in trouble voice but I'm glad your safe look. "Well you see, I took Luna out to get some Ice-cream and we were having such a great we just lost track in time." They looked worried. "It's true Dad Lily and I wanted to do something together honestly. We're sorry for breaking curfew, it won't happen again." The looked at each other than back at us, "Fine we will let it slide this one time, but it better not happen again." We shook our heads and went upstairs.
I can't believe we got away with that. I plug my phone up. I had several message. All from Josh:
"Luna I'm sorry for what I said
earlier, please take me back."
"I don't want anyone else but you."
" Luna you are my one and
true love!"I just ignored them. Why would I take him back when he was in the wrong. I put my headphones in and turned my music all the way up. There is something about music that helps me escape reality. As I sat my eyes, Lily bust through the door.
"Luna look out your window." I didn't want to get up so I tried to reach towards my window. "Get up lazy bones." What in the world is that important, as I got up I said, "What Lily... What is so important you had to bust through my door?" When I reached my window there stood a beautiful puppy.
"Who would leave there dog in the middle night." I didn't understand why the dog was under my window. Mom and dad went to bed twenty minutes ago. So I grabbed my jacket and went out the door. " Woah Luna! Where do you think your going." Do i have to answer her, but I do anyways "What's it look like I'm going to help that puppy." She just shrugs and goes out the door
As I reached the door I looked to see what time it was. Great 1:45 I'm going to be tired tomorrow. When I opened the door the dog was right at my feet. Aw its a husky. I've always wanted a dog but my parents always came up with excuses to why we couldn't own one."Aw! Your so cute. What's your name little fella?" I look for a name tag, but never found one. "Well Mr I'm going to call you Toby."
