"That Boy..." Ch. One

Tom was always looked at as the rude one, the one that was the butt of the jokes. Classic, stupid Tom, if you will. He had a taste of music, and a good way of playing the strings. But, otherwise he kept his feelings to himself. His closest friends in his life were Edd, Matt, and Tord. Such a unique name, for a very unique person. Tord had his hair styled into two devil like horns on the top of his head, and quite a love for his hentai. Unlike his other closer friends, he is from Norway, and has a very thick accent. God, how he thought about that accent a lot...In a very PLATONIC way of course...*Cough*

Tom's Pov

I sat up out of bed, and rubbed the jet black voids I called my eyes. I look around, and checked the time, 9:34 A.M., great...I stumbled out of bed to get dressed into my generic blue hoodie, and pants. As I walk down the stairs, I can can smell that Edd has already been making breakfast. The wobbles down the stairs, and makes my way to the kitchen. Edd has already set out everyone's food, and Tord is awake, as usual, but the rest are in their pajamas.

How does he ever get enough sleep...Tom ponders, mind beginning to drift to Tord.

"Morning Tom!" Edd says in his usual cheery voice, pulling Tom away from his thoughts.

"O-Oh, hey Edd.." Tom mumbles.

"What's the matter, cat got your tongue?"~ Tord purred, causing Tom to immediately look down to hide his red face.

"S-Shut up..." Tom replied to Tord's snarky remark.

Tord's POV

I stared at Tom, looking into his black eyes. They reminded me of the city, as sometimes, when the power goes out in someplace very bright, the sky lights up with millions of stars. That's his eyes. He rarely shows emotion, but when he does, it's like his eye sockets sparkle.

"..Tord?" Tom moved his hand in front of my eyes, zapping me back to reality.

"Er, um, yes?" I asked.

"You alright? You zoned out on us." I blush, realizing that I actually did zone out of them, thinking of Tom, of all people. I look over at Edd and Matt, who are giggling, and whispering to eachother like children. I could only pick up a few words, such as 'Cute,' or 'OTP,' which made me confused. 

Tom's POV

I quickly finished eating, while the others barely touched their food. I wonder why Tord zoned out. Probably thinking about his damn hentai...And pretty soon, I zoned out too, and quietly began to sing a few lines from 'Replay," with one or two words changed, because the cover I listened to, had the lyrics changed. Yeah...That's it, totally...

"That boy like something off a poster, that boy is a dime they say, that boy is a gun to my holster, he's running through my mind all d-d-day..."~

Tord's POV

I listened to Tom sing, I knew the song, it was Replay. Matt liked to listen to that pop shit, but the way Tom sang it, made it sound less like pop, more smooth, and less autotune. I stared at him. Why boy? I was curious, so I decided to ask.

"I thought the line was about a girl, not a boy?" I tilt my head, confused.

"I-I..Uhm...I-It said boy from the cover I listened to," Tom retorted, "yeah."

"Oh, okay." I reply. He sounds like he might be lying, but why would he lie about something like that? He is obviously straight...Right?

No POV

Tom blushes, looking flustered, and grumbles to himself, staring at their table.

Tord sighed, and hummed to himself in an attempt to clear the awkward silence. To his luck, Edd saved everyone from this awkward moment. Even Matt was joyed to clear the silence. Though, he'd normally say something stupid to.

"So, guys," Edd asked, blushing slightly, glancing at Matt. "What should we do today?"
