Her dad was a doll maker and focused more on his job than her. Mrs. Pick was given to her by an old woman who claimed Mrs. Pick has powers.
Diana spent at least three years playing by herself with Mrs. Pick.
When her father got a special order of buttons he got one too many of each type. He only ordered one of each but what he didn't realize was that they come in pairs.
So when he left the other two unattended with needle and thread nearby, Diana went into the room and grabbed the buttons, needle, and thread. She attempted to sew them on her own eyes but realize she couldn't.
That's when Mrs. Pick decided to show her she has powers. Using shadow magic she took the needle and button that was currently in Diana's hand.
She helped Diana by first, putting a gag in Diana's mouth so she didn't scream, then sewing the buttons on her while Diana kept her eyes wide open so she could see with them afterwards.
When she was done Diana played with Mrs. Pick for a little until her father came in asking for the buttons. When he saw Diana with her button eyes something snapped inside him.
Of course he was already a wanted serial murderer.
Diana told him she feels like he doesn't love her anymore so she wanted to be pretty like all his creations.
Her father took her to a room where he kept his doll dresses and told her to pick one. He made life-size dolls as well.
She picked the dress she is wearing in the picture and they spent hours making her look like a doll.
When they were finished Diana's father made her drink some sort of weird liquid, saying if she did it would help him with the next part in their fun. So she did. And passed out.
She woke up the next morning with the clothes stitched onto her, some stuffing stuffed inside her to make her fuller, and other stuff on her to make her permanently a doll.
Though the necklace she didn't pick...
She heard a voice. It was Mrs. Pick.
Mrs. Pick explained to Diana that the necklace connects their minds so they can talk with each other. The necklace being sewed onto her of course so she couldn't take it off anyways.
Mrs. Pick told Diana to run away but Diana was too horrified that her own father did this to her.
So. To get Diana to listen. Mrs. Pick made Diana go to a room that she wasn't allowed in.
Diana opened the door and saw all the dead bodies.
Even more horrified Diana attempted to escape but her father caught her.
Just then the police pulled up and Mrs. Pick ran off and hid while Diana sat on one of the shelves and pretended to actually be one of the dolls.
When the coast was clear she and Mrs. Pick ran away.
The spent several days on the street until Sans and Papyrus found her when searching for Emerald.
They took her back to the apartment and cared for her. Bringing her back to physical health.
I was thinking that BT Emerald could visit Sans and Papyrus and explain where she was. And in the end they ask her to take Diana with her to that world where they feel like she would be more comfortable.
Her Personality: Shy. Won't go anywhere without Mrs. Pick. Constantly needs encouragement about doing new things.
Mrs. Pick: If you watched H20 Delirious play Among the Sleep then Mrs. Pick is basically like Teddy but she also has shadow magic.
