I answer my phone stunned that anyone would call me at this time. I am in relief to know its just my Mom. "Hey, Sweetie. I know you're at work I just called to check in." She says with no worry in her voice. "I'm okay, but I need to go." I say hastily. "Okay, okay I get it. Love you, sweetie. Bye." She says as she hangs up.
I unlock the doors to the Lucky Palms. So far no one has walked in and I am all alone. At two, a very attractive-- no beautiful man walks in. He's in a grey suit with his ruffled brown hair and his sparkling hazel eyes,he's so muscular. Get a grip Jade, he's so out of your league, look at you. My thoughts taunt me. Then I see a beautiful woman walk in behind him, she's so pretty and she's wrapped in diamonds with a satin dress on. I pick up my ticket pad and head over to their table.
"Welcome to the Lucky Palms, My name is Jade, I'll be taking care of you today would you like to start off with drinks?" I squeeze out of my body. Damn he's so fucking hot, I'd like to smother myself in his lips. I shake the thought out of my head. "Two Bourbons on the rocks." He says sternly. I take their drink order and walk away. As I start to pour there drinks, Penelope walks in. She comes behind the bar and watches me poor the drinks. "Who is the hottie over there Jay? He won't stop glancing over to you and he keeps looking at your ass" She giggles. She can be so immature I swear, but I'm flattered that this man has the audacity to look at my Caboose with his Wife or whatever right there. I blush so hard as I walk over to their table and hand the drinks to them. "Did you guys see anything on the menu you'd like or do you need more time?" I ask. "We aren't that hungry and this will be quick so we'll just take the shrimp appetizer." The woman says quickly. I go and turn their order into the chef. When I was over there I couldn't help but look at the papers that was with them. Why were they at the Lucky Palms? Like yeah its a pretty fancy place but there's a ton better than here. Their order is done so I place the shrimp in the middle of their table. I try to get a closer look at the papers, all I see is Clarke County Divorce Court.
