Chapter 9

Macy's POV

I waited in my room my parents tried to talk to me but every time I was too mad to even look at them

Luna came in my room through the bathroom. That connected our two rooms

" hey ..." Luna said

" hey." I rolled over so I was facing the wall.

" I'm sorry about mom and dad ... that was kinda messed up what they did back there."

" it's not your fault."

It was silent for a little

" I think I'm gonna go to bed. Tell everyone I said goodnight."

" okay night may !"

" night lu."

I texted Grayson

G: Grayson M: Macy

M:hey, so I'm pretty much sneaking out of my house because I can't take it anymore

G: are you sure ? Where do you want to meet beautiful.

M: at the ice cream place by school!?

G: okay. What time ?

M: 1. it is the only time I know everyone will be asleep.

G: okay beautiful see you then 😘

M: 😘😘😘

I checked the time

11:30

I decided to get some sleep while I waited.

I set an alarm for 12:15.
I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep

A couple hours later I was woken up by my alarm.

I shut it off. I then brushed out my bed hair and did some touch ups to my makeup.

I applied perfume

I opened my door quietly making sure not to make even the slightest noise.

I walked down the stairs sneakily

I reached the bottom of the stairs.

I grabbed my keys off the kitchen table. I turned the alarm off and opened my door

Once I got outside I breathed a sigh of relief

I got in my car and turned the car on.

I backed out of the driveway and drove towards the ice cream place. This ice cream place was open till 3! I used to go all the time with Luna for a late night snack last summer. I smiled at the memory.

I turned on the radio and sang along.

I heard my phone ding. I checked it.

G: I'm here beautiful ! Can't wait to see you. 💗

I smiled

All of a sudden bright lights were coming my way.

And then everything went
