Isabella pov

We pulled into a parking lot full of limos and busy people getting their pictures taken. Shawn helped me out of the limo.

"Ready?" He asked with a smile

I took a deep breath, for some reason all these people running around made me nervous.

"Yup!" I smiled back.

Everyone stared at us while we walked in to the gym. Everyone was shocked that the Shawn Mendes was right in front of their faces.

Seeing how nervous I was to have this much attention on me, shawn grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.

I looked up at him and gave him a small smile.

We entered the gym. The lights were dimmed, the wall had streamers hung, people were dancing, and the table with punch seemed to have a lot of food on it as well. The dj was pretty lit also.

"Wow." Shawn breathed.

"What?"

"This reminds me of my prom."

"Oh. Shawn I'm sorry, you can go back home if u want."

"No, no, no! I didn't mean it like that. I want to be here. It just brings back high school memories."

"Oh okay." I said a little relieved that he wasn't going to leave.

"Want to go get some punch?" Shawn said.

"Sure."

We walked over to the punch table and shawn handed me a cup.

I took a sip and almost gagged.
Shawn laughed.

"Someone must have spiked the punch."

I nodded my head agreeing with him while laughing.

We threw away our drinks. I looked over and saw maddie and Hayes dancing to a slow song that is currently playing.

"shall we dance." Shawn said bowing down holding his hand out and talking in a British accent as if he was a prince.

I laughed

"We shall." I took his hand.

We walked to the dance floor. I put my arms around Shawns neck and he held my waist I rested my head against his chest while we swayed to the music.

~after the dance~

We all met back up at the limo. It was currently 11:45pm and we are all exhausted.

We got dropped off back home and shawn opened the door for me. I immediately took off my heals and flopped down on a couch. Shawn laughed at my tiredness.

"Come on iz." Shawn chucked and scooped me up and started carrying me upstairs but I was already half asleep.
He gently layed me down on my bed and ran out of my room. I heard a couple drawers slamming but I was to tired to move and see what was happening. Soon shawn rushed in with a pair of his sweatpants and one of his shirts.

"Here, u can wear this." He said handing me the clothes.

"Thank u shawn, for tonight." I said getting up to hug him.

"No problem, goodnight Izzy." He kissed me on my forehead and walked out.

I quickly got changed into Shawns clothes that he gave me and got in bed. I fell asleep instantly.
