Chapter One

Alexa's POV

I'm Alexa 17 years old, blonde long hair,  blue eyes and I live in Sydney with my mum. My mum has been single since I was one my dad left as he clamed he couldn't cope as they were only 19 years old when they had me but what is strange is that he had a stable job but mum says he was a waste of space anyway. That's enough about the past my mum came home after work today and broke some news to me that she has been seeing a guy for some time and they are getting married I was happy but at the same time annoyed that she didn't tell me as we used to tell each other everything. But at least me and my mum can be happy and begin a new life with someone who really loves her and wants to be with her she tells me that he knows about me and he has seen pictures of me and he doesn't care as he has a son around the same age as me but a year older.

Suzie's POV (Alexa's mother)

I'm Suzie I'm 36 years old and have a wonderful daughter called Alexa. I'm the only parent my daughter has had as her dad left us when she was one and that hurt me but she seemed fine as he would not be there for her anyway he was always going out and getting drunk when things didn't go his way and he would come home and most times hit me... she is better off with just me...

Austin's POV

I'm Austin 18 years old, I've got short brown/blonde hair, brown eyes and I live in Sydney with my dad a baby sister. My mum and dad were a one night stand ad she fell pregnant with me but lost contact with my dad until I was born when she dumped me on his doorstep when she managed to find out where he lived and I grew up without a mum now my baby sister is my dads sisters baby who sadly pasted away and she told my dad to bring Rose up as my sister and his daughter so that is what we are doing. I walked home with my sister after taking her to the park and my dad makes me sit down and tells me that he has been seeing a woman for sometime now and they are getting married I was so happy as this means that me and Rose would have a mother figure.

Blake's POV (Austin's dad)

I'm Blake I'm 39 years old and have a son called Austin but my life gets more complicated my sister passed away and she told me she wants me to raise her daughter Rose as mine and Austin to be her big brother... Austin's mum left him on my doorstep after a one night stand where she fell pregnant we lost contact so I didn't know until the door bell rang with a baby boy on the door mat so even since then its just been me and him.. its better that way... he is safer and this way I know he is doing good and having a good life. He is such a good brother to Rose he will take her to the park or read her a story and just spend time with her this is how I know he will be a good dad when  the time is right.
