Help me.

Sarah turns her head around. No one to be seen. "Da heck, could have sworn I heard something." She brushes off the thought and opens the door out of her house. "No point in saying I'm leaving if no ones here, right?" She sighs and begins to walk her way to school. As she thinks about life and listens to calming music, she wanders who she'll get to help today.

Help me.

Startled, Sarah turns around looking for the owner of the voice, but no one to be found. She looked at the lyrics of the song she was currently listening to, she thought she must of misheard the lyrics.

---------

Chatting with her small group of close friends, she told them about the cry of help she's been hearing. They made fun of her, claiming she probably had an over sense of heroism and so looked for someone to save. She laughed at their jokes but still felt a little frustrated. School was over and it was time to go back to..."To what?" Sarah thought. " To a home with no family? Last time I checked home was supposed to be a place where my heart stays, a place I would miss if I ever left, a place...A place where warm memories are made..."

Help me!

Cutting of her thoughts, she tried to mark the direction where the voice came from. She ran towards it, not wanting to lose it again. It felt as if they were connected, that by helping the voice owner she could help herself. She ran and ran, until she found her self in the backyard of her home. Pain stabbed her chest, as a sense of failure overcomes her. She crouches down, and places her hands above her head. Eyes tearing up, she said "I try to help others as much as I can, but for some reason I always feel as if I never do enough. Most probably because I wasn't good enough from the start. If I was my parents would have never left me. They wouldn't have neglected me even after I finally found them. If I was good enough I wouldn't be alone now would I?! She sighed, then got up. " Its fine." She thought. "I'll solve other peoples problems since I can't solve mine. Wonder who I'll help next?"

HELP ME!

Sarah almost peed her pants with fright. She ran to the direction of the voice, calling out " I'm Coming!"

HELP ME!

It was coming from the attic. It was as if she knew the voice, as if they really were related. She opened the doors of her attic, entered, and stood in the middle of the room. She looked right, then left. Sarah didn't see anyone, or hear for that matter. "Hey! Where are you? I'm here to help now!"

Help me.

The voice was faint, almost as if a whisper. Sarah followed its direction, made a turn. She was surprised, for all she found was a mirror. She looked around it, confused. Then began to realize. She felt this person's problem will help her solve her own. She felt it was as if they were related. However now she realized it was never someone's cry to begin with.

It was her own.

She fell to the ground and began to cry. "Yes, please help me" said the voice within. She looked up and smiled. For once she knew she was going to do something that was 100% right. "No more holding up feelings inside, no more waiting. It's time I face my own problems, get over my own emotions, before I go helping others." She placed her hand on the mirror, as if she was touching her own hand. "I promise."

---------

"Sarah is now happy again, truly happy"

"Ya! Am I glad she told us everything she was holding inside."

" It feels like everything is fixed, especially with our "The Voices Within Club" officially open!"

"Deffinetly. Who knew there were so much people to help out there? By the way, why did we call it "The Voices Within"?

-"Yo guys whats takin' you so long?! Your missing the fun of the game!"

"Don't you dare do something fun before we get there Sarah!"

Sarah laughed with her group of friends. Happy that she kept her promise.
