Chapter 2
"Who are you?!" I demanded slowly reaching for my knife that I hid within my bag. I glanced down and cursed as I remembered I left it in the barn. The silhouette slipped out of the shadows and approached me gracefully. I inhaled deeply as I was struck by his beauty. He had strikingly handsome features. His eyes were the same green as Chance (the officer) and he had the same hair but his went all the way to his chest and back. His freckles were hard to see under the moonlight but I could clearly see his luscious full lips. He was lean and muscular with dark tanned skin. He was very tall, at least 6"3.
He chuckled and flashed perfectly straight and white teeth," My names Leanardo. And you're trespassing on my property young lady. Though I guess I could let you slide..." His eyes scanned my nude body and he bit his lips playfully. Wow can you say pervert? Did he honestly think I was that cheap?
I snorted and gathered the clothes I set out to wear," Ya in your dreams pal. I'll be out of your hair right after those clothes dry. So buzz off." I leaned over and slipped on my tattered blue boxers and my cheap black bra. I heard a snicker and I shot a glare at him. "What's so funny carrot top?" I stood with my hand on my hip.
He smirked," You have chocolate smooth skin, amazing curves, gorgeous amber eyes, long satin black hair, and the most beautiful face I've seen," I blushed deeply at him saying this and looked down," but you dress like a complete dumbass." I stared at him shocked and highly offended.
"Excuse me little prick but I don't have the luxury of expensive clothing. I work with what I've got thank you very much." At that I turned away from him and proceeded to put my clothes on as I murmured to myself. I mean seriously who the hell did he think he was?!
I didn't hear him approach me and jumped when I felt incredibly warm hands circling around me and onto my waist.
"Hey wha-"before I could finish my sentence he pulled my chin up towards him and planted his full lips against mines. His lips were so soft against mine; they seemed to hold a strong desire. The heat they let off almost made me dizzy.
Blushing fiercely I tried to push him away and free myself from his grip. He didn't nudge but simply let me slide away. I covered my mouth in total shock. I've never met the guy and he does that?! What guy just goes ok I'm going to kiss this random stranger? I mean honestly no self respect.
I didn't look at him as I gathered all my things together. If I was going to get assaulted I could just hang my things up somewhere else. It wasn't that big of a deal.
"Leaving so soon?" He turned away from me and shrugged," and I was gonna show you a good time." He walked away not paying me any mind. He had the nerve! I picked up the closest rock and chucked it full speed and his back. To my astonishment he gracefully turned around and caught it within his hands. He smirked and kissed the rock and he turned and continued on his way.
"Don't worry Ms. Tatsu you can stay in the barn as long as you need. Though, I do have a house that would be much warmer if you preferred? " He paused for a moment barley tilting his head to me. A warm bed and some good food sounded nice. Not to mention a decent shower. But I didn't want this cocky jerk to take care of me.
"I'll think about it," I murmured under my breath as I finished putting my clothes on.
"If you do decide to just follow this path and you'll arrive at my house. It's hard to miss." and with that he was gone. Cocky little bastard. Making a move on me and thinking I'd be some hoe and actually let him take me. Though, that was quite a kiss. I blushed thinking of the way his lips felt against mines.
I pushed the thought out of my head and went back to the barn. After making a makeshift bed out of some cushions I found and a lot of hay I laid down and rested.
