Alice was checked out the next week after being evaluated by a physician, his team was shocked he was not scared after almost meeting his demise.
He walked out the front door with his usual nonchalant demeanor, Luca and Cheryl were somewhat unnerved about his iron calmness.
Sho was about to give an apology but refrained from speaking out of feeling that it
was his fault.
Alice walked away from the infirmary with them, he looked down at his 'arm' and
was trying to hold back his reluctance of continuing to serve the academia.
"You seem a little...off, you ok?" Cheryl asked.
Alice nodded in reassurance, he noticed that Sho's back looked a little unnerving.
They were summoned by Nine, she had a vexed look on her face. "I can't believe you assaulted another operative unprovoked!" Nine accused.
Alice was about to speak, but he refrained from speaking after feeling the trepidation of Nine's stare.
She paced the room to keep her calm, Sho was nervously scratching himself.
Alice was watching with confusion, he wondered
what was under the bandages.
They become undone from the fidgeting. "Huh..." Alice uttered as the bandages fell.
He was surprised to see a scarred humanoid Shiba Inu's face underneath or why it was covered, Sho looked at him with confusion.
Alice pulled out a pocket mirror.
Sho looked to see that his masquerade was over, Nine continued to grumble while Alice had a field day patting Sho's head.
Zero walked in and then handed Nine a document, she calmed down and looked at them.
"I have a mission for you all...Also, I have no idea why you're petting his head...
Anyway, we have a probational investigation mission for you. A casino manager has been kidnapping mentia to use as a living security system, recon has found a large amount of media that were on missing lists being forced into the back entrance.
Infiltrate the casino and help them, with no causalities on either side. "
The group nodded in agreement and left the briefing room.
"I just had to get the weird ones...." Nine addressed Zero while sighing in disappointment.
