CHAPTER 1

Kaitlyns POV **'**

As I wake up from the shining bright light that comes through my window, I take a moment to see the sun rise from the east. Today is a new day, its a school day and I will go back to Laken high as a junior and all I can think of is how I'm supposed to wake up everyday now to get to school. I'm kinda excited to see my friends and talk about what we did during this summer but after all there are to many drama queens walking in the school hall with their blowing shimmering hair and their high heels making so much sound that they get everyone's attention.

As I rise up from my bed I see Cora, my twin sister, opening up my door with a very not so good looking face. Her chocolate brown hair is very messy and her hazel green eyes looks exhausted. We look the same but I have very long hair that touches my back mean while Coras hair comes to her shoulders.

"What is it Cora and why do you look so dead?" I say as I walk my way into the bathroom.

"Wheres my shirt? I've been looking for it a while now and I can't find it!"

"Which shirt are you talking about? And relax you don't have to be so dramatic" I say as I take my toothbrush, put some tooth cream on it and start brushing.

"Well as you know last Friday I bought a shirt and it was grey, long and --" Cora stops talking and looks at my dirty laundry.

" Omg Kaitlyn are you serious! I just bought it and you've already used it" Cora says as she takes the shirt and slams the door.

I started packing up my books and stuff and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I see my mother all dressed up for work and looking very stressed out which made me think that she hasen't done breakfast and well she hasen't.

"Sorry honey I didn't have time to make breakfast, you will just have to eat something quick and easy" She says as she kisses my forehead, waves goodbye and leaves for work.

As I get to school, I see my friend Aliyah sitting on a bench waiting for me. She has short strawberry blonde hair and sea blue dazzling eyes. She's wearing mom jeans and a white crop top over with a long grey cardigan.

"Heyyy girl I've missed you so much!" She screamed as she pulled me for a very tight hug.

"Same I've missed you too Aliyah!" I said as we slowly pull away from the hug and start talking.

"So there is a new girl in school"

"Well who's that" I say as I walk to my locker with her.

"It's Laura Salvador and many people are already talking about her"

"What I don't get it, she's a new student whats the big deal?" I say very annoyed.

"I don't know if this is true but she was the captain for one of the biggest cheerleading squads and she seems like a threat to your sister Cora because she's like the captain of our cheerleading squad." Aliyah says as she rubs her neck.

"So that's why everyone are talking about her?"

"Well yeah this school talks about everyone and everything" Aliyah says as she puts some chopstick on her lips.

"true" I say as I walk my way to chemistry class.
