Chapter three

"Hey Madi can we talk...??" he asked me. "Yea sure come in. What do you want to talk about?" "Ok so you know why i looked so sad today?" "Yea what was that all about?" "Ok so when i said family is coming over i meant my moms friends are coming over. And they have a daughter named Calli and Calli is my ex." Max told me. In my head i was like, oh no are they going to get back together? Is he going to move back to California to be with Calli. Will i lose Max forever?! I told him "Oh is she nice?" He replied with a yes. "So why are you so mad about your ex here?" i asked. "Well first of all, SHE'S MY EX!! And i haven't talked to her since i moved to Saskatchewan so it's super awkward seeing her. And i think she still likes me!!" he told me. "What's wrong with your ex still liking you??" I asked. "Well i broke up with her so i don't really like her anymore and plus i like someone else!" He screamed out. "Wait you like someone? Who??" i asked him. "Someone, but i just wanted to come and explain who Calli is because i know how you get jealous when i'm around  other girls...." he told me. "Wait you think i like you??!!" "Well i didn't say but i have a feeling you do..." he told me quietly. "And if i did like you it wouldn't matter cause i know you only think as me as a friend" i yelled as i ran upstairs crying. I honestly don't know why i was crying, i think i was crying because i knew that me and him would never happen for some reason. While i ran to my room crying i slammed my door and balled my eyes out. I heard the door open and someone saying "Madi are you ok?!" I said "I'm fine, just leave me alone please" "I'm not leaving until you tell me why you are crying!" he said softly "Do you really want to know why i'm crying!" "Yes!!" he said. "I'm crying because i like you and i know that me and you can never happen. I like you so much and now Calli is here and you might end up falling back in love with her!" i said while crying so hard. "Madi i'm going to tell you who i like, and her name is Madi. I like you Madi." he said to me. "Wait you like me back??" i asked while still crying. "Yes i have liked you ever since we met!" he said in a soft and nice way. "Me too" i told him. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into a hug and said "Everything will be ok!"

- 2 days later -

So my parents where getting ready to go on a business trip so i said good bye to them. So i had the house to myself for 2 weeks. After my parents left i put on some pj's cause it was already 10pm. I changed into a "I'm a monster in the morning"shirt and some pink shorts with some slippers with my hair in a messy bun. (Picture on top) So i decided to text Max and invite him over if he would like to watch a movie. "Hey Max wanna come over to my place and watch a movie?" I asked "Yea sure what time should i come over?" he replied. "Anytime" i replied. "Ok i'll be there at 10:30" "sweet" i replied.
