[MYSTIC MESSENGER] You're My Nightmare (Zen x Jumin)

Chapter Seven

"Well, I'm fucked."  Was the only thing surfing through my jumbled brain.

I sigh, sitting on the couch and gripping at the pictures that remain in my hands. They shake as my whole body feels heated as I sweat vigorously. I didn't know how I was going to go about this. She went this far just for a date?  I just wanted to curl up in all this confusion. Then my phone rang.

I picked it up and said a quiet hello, until I hear Jumin. I jump a bit and chuckle, clearly seeming off.

"Are you okay, Zen?" Jumin asked, full seriousness in his voice. I was to scared at the moment to instantly reply.

"...Yes, I'm fine." I spoke clearly, trying not to cover how distressed I am at the moment. Jumin started speaking quickly into the phone. So quick I don't know how to react. "JUST CHILL WILL YA?"

"I'm coming over." He hung up.

"Oh my god," I face palmed and fell to my side. I cover my face and groan in annoyance. "Can I just kill myself and all of this will be over?"

I sighed and scratched my head, staring at the turned off TV before I knew it, I dozed off. All curled up on my couch, only to wake up to a pair of lips pressed against mine.

I jolted up, smacking my head against the man who dared to disturb my sleep with a kiss. Of course, it was Jumin. He rubbed his head and glared at me as I  grimaced.

"You can't just go kiss people, bastard." I grumbled, clenching my fists. Jumin rolled his eyes and sat down next to me.

"You shouldn't fall asleep on the couch you'll get a cold," He replied, ignoring the face he just kissed me in my sleep. "You seem fine, you shouldn't have made me miss a meeting for this."

I shrieked,"You came here on your own accord!" I slapped him on the back of the head. Jumin rubbed where I slapped him and continued to glare at me.

"What did you seem so upset about anyways?" He raised an eyebrow, which made me remember what happened.

I shook my head, "Nothing."

"Nothing."

"Yeah nothing."

Jumin looked at me as if to say: I'm calling out your bullshit. He grabbed my face, and closed in. "Don't lie to me." I smacked his hands away.

"Do you know nothing of personal space, buddy?" I said, turning away from him, only for Jumin to grab my face with more force.

"You really don't want to test me, Zen. I already screwed up a meeting earlier, so I'm not really in the best mood." His glare is fixed on me and only on me. I wasn't falling for his anger or anything like that.

I returned his glare, not saying a single word. I was stubborn, and I always am when it comes to him. This was so none of us got hurt, if I stayed silent and just agreed to Echo Girl's terms. Everything would be fine.

"Fine, be like that." He let go with a rough jerk and stood up, flicking out his phone and dialing something. A few seconds later, "Yes, hello, Seven? So, Zen has been acting weird."

I raised an eyebrow at Jumin, he glances to me before crossing his arms. His phone remained in his other hand. "Sure you can see Elly, if you do this for me." He smirked at me, "Is there anyway you could see who was at Zen's house last?"

"SEVEN DON'T YOU DARE!" I leap towards Jumin's phone and he moves to the side slightly, leaving me to crash on to my carpet. I grabbed Jumin's foot and tried to yank him down, but he grabbed on the wall and tried to hop away.

"Mhm, okay thanks. Just send me the file." Jumin shut his phone and looked down at my desperate self. I was clinging to his leg whilst glaring at him.

I jumped up and grabbed Jumin's phone, tossing it at the wall. He right then pulled out his other phone.
Fucking rich people.

"Clearly this is quite a big deal, so know I must know." Jumin said, flipping out his phone to look at the file. "The street cameras aim towards your house so, therefore, Seven can get me footage of who was there."

I face palmed and groaned immensely as his face perked up more with interest than happiness. Oh, he still looked pissed. It's like a grumpy cat, the thought just makes me want to sneeze. He looked to me and said, "A girl came to your house."

"Well, specifically Echo Girl."

"You better start explaining."
