She sunk down against the wall, cradling herself. She put her head in between her legs and a stream of tears began to run down her cheeks. She jad been hurt by some who she thought were close to her. She felt forgotten, lost, and betrayed. She had lost full control of her emotions and felt more insecure than she was just five minutes ago.

As she got up off of the bathroom floor, she looked in the mirror. She did not see herself, though. Instead, she saw a girl who was humiliated and lost. She was the exact opposite of who she once was.

She snapped herself out of her thoughts and turned on the faucet. She cupped her hands umder the cold running water. It was warmer, though, than the frozen hearts of the people she thought she once knew. She took the cold water and splashed it against her face to wash away the tears that they have caused.

For about five minutes, she stared at herself in the mirror. She thought about the things that the people had said about her. She looked at her long, brown hair. It was messy from her scratching her head nervously. She looked at her blue eyes. They now had a red tint to them. She touched her freckled face. Was it really ugly? Should she hide it? She took her hair and covered up her ears. Were they really that big and gross? She started to bite her fingernails, covering her so-called "yellow teeth" and "big fat lips." For a minute, she looked at her skinny waist. She had womdered if she was too fat as well.

All of a sudden, someone had walked into the bathroom. She stopped as she saw the girl by the sinks sobbing.

"Serenity?" She looked as if she felt sorry for her.

Serenity looked at the girl, feeling more frightened than ever.

"Are you okay?"

"Ya. Of course. I- I'm perfectly fine. Why wouldn't I be fine?" She lied as she wiped her face dry with her sleeves.

"You are not okay. You are a mess! Look at you. Why are you crying?"

They both stared at eachother for a few minutes. Serenity was scared and frightened. The girl was patiently waiting for a reply from her.

"I can't tell you." Serenity brushed past the girl to go out of the restroom.

Instead of following Serenity, the girl stayed put. She didn't know what to do. She didn't know what was going on.
