After school, Lago and I met up just as we had a hundred times before. We walked across town using the various sidewalks and crossways, and made our way to the movie theater. Now, the town of Mountain Grove isn't very big, but somehow there is a lot of people. The surrounding towns go to Mountain Grove for it's various stores and restaurants, and send their children to it's school. It is for that reason that Mountain Grove High School has a large amount of students, but a relatively small amount from the actual town itself.

The town is also arranged in the shape of a circle, with the high school located on one end, and the movie theater on the other, which is unfortunate, but the exercise is good for us. However, Lago could not think more differently. He usually makes the remark that the movie theater should be closer to the high school about half way through the trip. This time was no exception.

"They should move the theater closer to the school," he said in total agony as he "struggled" on. "That way kids can walk there without the pain that it is now."

"Come on Lago, it's not that far. Just keep on walking and we'll be there in no time."

And so I got the usual eye roll from Lago and we continued, only stopping to rest four times total for the trip, which was a new record for us. And so we reached the theater, which is about the size that you would expect. Outside was a big sign displaying all of the movie showings for the night. We chose the movie that was starting the earliest as we normally did, and we sat down in the theater. We didn't have enough money for snacks or anything, just the ticket. But then again we were used to that. Our orphanage is funded by the town, which means that we aren't well funded at all. We barely have enough money to buy food for all of the kids there, which is about five, but we get by alright. I think that it is fine though, but Lago has some weird idea that we aren't important enough, and that's why we don't get funded well. I think that that is absurd.

The movie was great, actually. Usually the movie is only alright, but this time it was really fantastic. Of course I only see the surface of the movie, but Lago can always manage to find some deep and dark message about life and the universe, or something inbetween. Last time, from Spider Man 2, he managed to say: "Life's web surrounds us all, trapping us in it, and there are but a few ways out ."

Lago always manages to pull out these deep quotes from his mind from time to time. It's kinda his thing and it's become a part of who I know him to be. I don't know how he does it, and sometimes it's helpful. It gives you something to think about, something else to explore, outside of the normal world. I've tried to do this a couple of times, but the way that he does is just so much better. He always manages to find the right words while I struggle with just finding the way to describe what I am saying. And this I admire him for.

So we managed to get into a new discussion, but this time based off of the movie we just saw: Dispicable Me. This kept us occupied all the way to the orphanage, which was definitely fine. The orphanage is about in the center of town, so we can get to just about anywhere from it. It's also near a church, to which we never really go to at all. It's there, but we don't go. I don't really know why.
