Chapter 31: Graduating Hogwarts

Hermione's P.O.V 

We had one more day to be at Hogwarts. One more day. Then we would all become citizens of the wizard (or muggle!) society. Another adult in the world of adults. Taxes, bills, paperwork, exciting right?

Apparently every year at Hogwarts there is a huge party for the graduates and it was happening tonight. One person took it upon themselves to throw it and no one ever dared to break the tradition. 

The funniest thing is that there was a a ton alcohol every time so the next day, Madam Pomfrey has a line waiting outside of her office and kids asking for hangover potions. She always prepares batches the day before graduation because of the "visits" she expects the next day. 

Night time was already dawning upon the castle so I decided to whip out my dress. It was a red-long sleeve dress with silk and it kind of looked like a dress Katniss would wear.

I put on some black 4-inch stilettos and walked around my room. The probability of me falling in these heels are pretty high but I can easily be fixed up by a little bit of magic. I slipped my wand into a "secret compartment" I had made in the poofiness of my dress and I glanced in the mirror. My hair wasn't too bad and I could tame it. I put on a smokey eye with some red glitter eyeshadow and a bit of red lipstick. Satisfied with my makeup, I moved onto my hair. I brushed through it and decided to only use a little bit of heat to tame it. I put a bunch of bobby pins in my hair and a couple of flowers until I thought it was decent.

It was finally time for the party and I walked downstairs. Draco had promised to meet me at the party because he had a couple of things to do. I walked into the Great Hall and it had been transformed into a beautiful room with lights hanging around (muggle way) and fairies dancing with each other around the room.
