p r o l o g u e

It was the first day of school. Crybaby was excited. She was all dressed up, she was wearing a pastel yellow dress with white ruffles on it and she wore her cotton candy pink and black hair into two braids. She glanced at the mirror and smiled at her reflection. "Today's gonna be a good day" she thought to herself.

So she made her way to school. She was riding her pastel yellow bike which she adored. She arrived at last. The periods passed, and she made it through the morning. The bell rang. She took her lunch bag and made her way to the cafeteria, where she would find her self alone. She didn't have any friends. She then walked towards the playground and sat on a bench alone. She was thinking to herself until she noticed that three kids were walking towards her, and then they stood in front of her.

"It's crybaby!"

"She's always so childish"

"Look at her braids!" "What are you, a baby?"

Crybaby felt tears forming in her eyes, and she felt heat rising up from her heart to all over her body.

"Oh what is she gonna do now?! She's gonna cry?"

It didn't take long until they took her lunch, threw it across the floor and then they pushed her to the ground. Then she felt someone punch her stomach, and a slap across her face. She couldn't take it anymore. She cried, and cried until she felt like she didn't have any more tears to spill.
She was almost unconscious. But a unfamiliar voice caught her attention.

"Leave. her. alone."

She heard kids screaming and teachers freaking out. Her vision was blurred, and her eyelids felt heavy. The last thing she saw before passing out were teachers calling her name and trying to get her back up.
