They were standing in front of her doorstep, the dim porch light was the only source of illumination they had, casting soft shadows to their faces. It was 2am and everybody else was already fast asleep. But the two were still very much awake, very much aware of each other, unwilling for this magical moment to end. They were content, just staring at each other. They could easily get lost in each other's eyes.

Taking a deep breath, Kim regretfully broke the silence. "Xian.... I have ASAP tomorrow..."

Sighing, too, Xian unwillingly tore his eyes from hers. With their busy schedules, they did not know when they would have this chance again.

Ever since their teleserye became a huge success, people speculated that there was something happening behind the cameras. They themselves felt the undeniable chemistry between them. Try as they might, they could no longer fight the way they felt anymore. Doing so seemed futile attempt. They would just be lying to themselves.

However, for Xian, it was a double edged sword, because people thought he was just using Kim to penetrate the mainstream. Between the two of them, he had more to prove, him being the newbie.

But looking into her beautiful eyes now, he couldn't care less how theworld looked at him, so long as the most important girl is looking at him this way. He would let people think what they wanted to think. He could take on a bullet and get away unscathed if she was with him.

He took her hand in his, playfully toying with her fingers. He was unwilling to break the moment, but, "yeah, I need to go too."

"Thank you for dinner and sa movie. Sobrang nag-enjoy ako." Kim said, trying to make light of the situation, but inside, she was dying. His scent, his touch, his eyes, all slowly numbing her senses. She started to leave. He grabbed her hand before she could do so.

"Kim... When I go tonight, I don't know when I can be with you like this again...."

Oh. My. God. What is he saying? Kim was hyperventilating.

"I know in interviews, I always say I'm not yet courting you. And that's true..."

She lowered her gaze, obviously embarrassed. Was she reading too much to Xian's sweet gestures? Did he treat every girl like this? What was it about making her feel special? Was it all for show?

".... I just don't want to let this night to end without telling you how very special you are to me....I think I'm falling in love with you, Kim. I don't care what other people say. I just want to be up front and say how I feel."

Xian read the play of emotions on Kim's beautiful face. It was clear that she was getting confused. Then he saw the spark. He was suddenly very very nervous. Uh, oh. What did I say?

What the...?!?! Suddenly there was fire in her eyes. So, did he think just because he was so cute that he could get any girl he wanted just like that? Kim didn't like what she heard. She stared at him hard and unwavering, and said stiffly,"Xian, alam kong sa States ka lumaki. Pero ako dito sa Pilipinas. Hindi naman pwedeng basta nag-I love you ka sa kin, yun na yun."

He chuckled. He expected that kind of reaction from her, knowing how conservative she was."You are so cute, Kim." He pinched her nose playfully. She pouted adorably in return, clearly exasperated.

Discarding the playful banter, he took her chin in his hand and stared into her eyes intently. She melted, tried to maintain her warrior stance, but was slowly slipping. "Gusto ko pag niligawan kita, bibigyan ko ng panahon. Pag niligawan kita, gusto ko, nararamdaman mo na sinusuyo kita. Gusto ko walang magiging doubt sa isipan mo na nililigawan kita. At gusto ko, bago kita ligawan, meron akong go signal galing sa iyo."
