A persistent knock on the door rudely drags you from your slumber, a thin sheet of sweat covering both your face and chest and a pale blush spreading across your cheeks when you finally open your tired eyes.

Oh, God. Hi there.

It seems you and Thatch had switched positions in your sleep. Your heart going haywire when you find that the brunette is currently laying with his body draped over yours but not hurting you at all surprisingly. One of his arms still wrapped around your waist and the other sprawled out across the pillow beside your head, his face buried into the crook of your neck.

Oh God...this doesn't look right...

It looks even worse that he's got no shirt on, he's only wearing his pajama bottoms but they're covered by the duvet. The knocking getting louder by the second and causing Thatch to fidget in his sleep, his hand now gliding down your lower back to your ass, the male murmuring a simple "Get lost." against your neck and his breath managing to softly tickle at your skin in the process.

My God, Thatch! Why do this to me?!

You simply can't help but freeze up at the feeling, he's touching your butt and if it was anyone else, you'd slap them silly. But Thatch? I mean, he's not even awake so it's surely not intentional.

"Thatch! Wake up yoi! We can't find Ace or [F/n] anywhere!"

Oh, Sweet Jesus. I'm in here! HE'LL THINK WE--Wait. Ace? Where the hell could he be?!

A dreadful feeling beginning to set in your stomach as you think back to the man in the woods last night. Could it be possible that he followed you back here and kidnapped Ace? Your hand coming up to Thatch's shoulder and giving it a harsh shake, trying to wake the male.

Unfortunately your other hand is buried underneath him. Actually...it's resting against something slightly stiff and low down. Your face burning up as hot as the sun when you realize just what it is and trying to pull away, even just a little but you simply can't budge.

SHIIIT! He's going to think I'm a fucking pervert!

Your embarrassment engulfing you completely when the door bursts opens, Marco standing there with a frown on his face. Although the frown is very brief, it immediately drops into a look of complete bewilderment and discomfort.

Your wide eyes landing on the blonde and your mouth falling ajar, you want to explain yourself but you can't even bring yourself to muster up an eligible response. Thatch letting out a soft groan against your neck, his breath grazing your skin and causing you to shudder lightly.

NOT HELPING, THATCH!!

"U-Uh...S-S-Sorry yoi!" Is all poor Marco stutters out, slamming the door shut again. The noise actually jolting Thatch awake, finally. A surprised intake of his breath as his brown eyes flicker open and your stomach feeling as if it's sinking into your backside...which Thatch is still touching by the way. "I-I've found [F/n] y-yoi! No Ace though!"

You can hear Marco already having to explain to Sabo and probably even Luffy what he just saw, anxiety setting in your stomach as you think about Ace. Where he could be now and what that weirdo might have done to him.

"What was that bang?" Thatch murmurs tiredly to himself, his thumb rubbing one of his eyes while the next four fingers rub the other. His brows knitting together when he presses his free hand to your stomach as he pushes himself up.

Seems he forgot that I was here.

His eyes widening as he drops his limb from his face, a pale blush immediately rising to his cheeks when he observes the position himself. The fact that he had just sat up not making this look any better either.

Your legs are each side of him and the vest top that you had fallen asleep in last night was low, giving you a slight nip-slip, as they call it. The sweat coating your body surely isn't making this look any more innocent. Your brain crumbling down into a circus of screams and you can do nothing more than stare up at the man before you.

Shitshitshitshit! Say something, [F/n]!!

"Ace is missing." You inform in attempts to stop the brunette from feeling anymore discomfort, his eyes lingering on your chest briefly before he shifts his gaze toward the door, rolling off of you and the bed.

"N-Nothing new there...he's always wandering off." Thatch murmurs nervously, clearing his throat as his brown orbs look around the room, confusion clear in his expression. His gaze shifting just about everywhere, but not directly at you. "I'm sorry about...uh...I-I didn't crush you, right?"

You'd be lying if you said you don't find his stutters and the redness in his cheeks utterly adorable. Giving him a simple shake of your head for an answer, your hand finally drifting up to your shirt, tugging on it a little in order to cover up your previous wardrobe malfunction.

And your face heating up even more when you watch the brunette drop his pajama pants to the floor, changing into a pair of white neat slacks instead. Well, okay then! "Right, good. I'll go help the others look for Ace. You can use the shower if you need to." He mutters quickly, slipping his shirt on over his shoulders before fastening the buttons, making his way outside to his brothers and shutting the door behind him.

You can't help but smile at his more nervous side; the blush was still on his face when he went out there. Surely if you listen closely enough, you'll hear someone mention it to him. Most likely Marco. Not to mention his shirt still had a few buttons that needed to be done up.

But would it really bother you to have his brothers assume you and him had done the deed? Perhaps not. After all, they wouldn't let girls flirt with him if they thought such things. They're all too loyal for that.

This misunderstanding might just be a benefit to me.

"There you are yoi! Where have you been?! We've been worried about you, asshole!"

Thatch?

"I went to get some food? Luffy ate all mine last night so I had to buy some more...Don't be so on edge~!"

A smile spreading across your lips as you reach for the shower switch. A weight lifted from your shoulders; that was Ace's voice out there so he's safe and sound. Perhaps that guy was just an innocent bystander after all, trying to help you out of the woods.

And I repay him by...screaming in his face. Wow, [F/n]...

"You missed it yoi, Thatchy got himself a gir--!" Marco's voice being blocked out when water erupts from the shower head, loudly hitting against the tiled floor. You're admittedly a little bummed that you missed that part but you can imagine what he said anyway.

Thatch probably trying to set them straight right now but considering the angle that Marco was standing earlier, you'd assume there's simply no way to convince him that it was all an innocent misunderstanding.

This is just too good!
