Lauren's POV/
"I can't believe we have to clean the floor of these vile men" Maia mumbled as she began to scrub harder at what looks like some sort of chile stain.
"You mustn't complain, they might do something worse. Like their laundry" I let out a giggle as Maia snickered a little.
"We have got to get out of here" Maia whispered to me as I bit my lip.
"Maia, all that matters right now is if we make it out alive. Let's focus on that first" I said as she nodded.
"Oh Princess!" I heard someone say as I looked at Maia, I began to stand as the blonde shook his head.
"No not you, you!" He pointed at Maia as her face went white. She towards the couch as the three men gulped down a beer and smoked some cigarettes. That's what this whole house usually smelled like.
"What is your best dish?" The redhead asked her as I bit my lip. Oh my god, she doesn't cook! She never could. Oh my god.
"Umm, well about that---" she was cut off.
"I don't wanna hear excuses. What is your best meal that you prepared?" The redhead interrupted her as I gasped.
"I umm..." she started as the brunette of the group laughed.
"Bro, she ain't answering you cuz she can't cook!" He laughed as the blonde look at Maia and laughed so loud and the redhead joined not to long after that. Maia looked down at her feet, not embarrassed of their sneering but because she had to take it.
"I guess we should order take out. I'm almost sure that the Princess can barely make cereal. Hell, she had plenty of servants to wait on her" the blonde said as I scoffed.
"I can cook anything you guys want. I studied with the most famous chef all of Moldavia, he taught me everything he knew" I said as the men looked at each other.
"Good for you Princess, you are our cook now. There is a lot of food in our kitchen so do whatever. And if you need help, you can use your scullery maid for help..." The men laughed heartlessly. "Oh wait, I killed her" the blonde laughed as I sighed at the remembrance of Lucinda.
"If you need help, use your... Whatever the hell she is" the brunette said as I nodded.
"What would you guys like?" I said as the men stared at each other and smiled.
"Tacos!" The redhead laughed as I nodded. I tapped on Maia as she looked at me. I nudged my head, indicating for her to follow me. She nodded as we both entered the kitchen.
"So we need taco shells, some beef, lettuce and cheese" I said as Maia nodded. We then began to rummage through the cupboards. I opened one, empty. I opened another, empty. I bit my lip as I took a glance at Maia who also seemed to realize that there is no food anywhere.
"I don't think they have food here" Maia said as I nodded my head.
"Let's tell them" I said as Maia nodded. We both began to walk towards the men who were looking at something on one of their phones.
"Where's the tacos?" The brunette asked us as I shrugged.
"I don't know, you tell us" Maia mumbled sarcastically. "There is not even enough milk for all three of you. The only thing we could make are dingy cheese sandwiches" Maia said as I nodded.
"Then make cheese sandwiches, grilled" the blonde said as we nodded. Maia and I began to walk back to the kitchen as they stopped us.
"Oh no, the brunette who does not cook stays here and cleans up" the redhead said as she nodded. I then dispersed back into the kitchen, got the bread out, seemed to have a little mold on it though.
Oh well, I'm not eating it.
Ross's POV/
"Next time, toast the bread some more, it's not like we can't handle a little hot. Hell, there's fire inside us" I heard Brad say as I rolled my eyes.
I never did like Brad that much.
"Okay go to your rooms and try not to make so much noise" I said as Brad and Calum looked at me.
"What's up?" Brad asked as the girls walked to their room and Calum shut the door.
"Raven is asking us to video chat, I don't know why" I said as Calum and Brad exchanged glances. I sighed as I called him on my laptop, a gift from the Raven. The screen showed that it connected and popped up The Raven's horrid face.
"Hey boss" we all said at once as The Raven smiled with his broken teeth.
"Boys, glad to know all of you made it in one piece, where is Queen Vanessa?" He went right to the point which bothered me a little. He didn't even ask about us.
"About that... We don't exactly have her..." The Raven's eyes widened as his fist clenched.
"Rex, what how could you have messed up so badly? I thought you knew the mission inside and out!" The Raven angrily said.
"We searched everywhere around that castle. All the rooms and everything. It was hard because the castle was so large and we only had three of us! She is not in that castle" I said as The Raven glared.
"But do I have the Queen? No! So you guys failed" The Raven said as we all exchanged glances.
"We've got Princess Lauren though, and her confidant" Cal said as The Raven looked at us through the laptop.
"What the hell am I going to do with a confidant?" Raven asked.
"She's also Countess Maia who is very wealthy and she knows all of the Princess's secrets. They are practicality family" Brad said.
"Torture the Princess using her confidant and see if she can tell us where her beloved sister went" The Raven took a sip of a glass that probably had some sort of alcohol in it.
"Done, she's in Nevoruss, finding some husband for her sister" Brad said as The Raven smiled.
"Good, I will do this myself." The Raven said.
"What do we do with the girls?" Cal asked as The Raven smirked.
"Brad, pack your bags because you are coming with me. Cal and Rex, you guys a babysit the girls till I return. They must be alive. I want all of them to die together" The Raven said as I sighed.
"Try not to mess this up Rex. Good luck for you both to get your freedom and the child"
And with that, the chat disconnected.
