Scott paced in front of the loft door. Stiles had turned down his offer of video games all afternoon, saying him and Lydia had plans. He said that he'd see Scott later-probably. Scott had hung up, confused and bored. He didn't want to go out, because then he'd be bombarded by concerned friends and family. He just wanted to spend an afternoon being a normal teenager, sleeping, eating, playing video games, trying not to think about his broken heart. Instead, he'd been waiting for something to happen all day. In the end, he just decided to work out. He pulled himself up onto one of the support beams, struggling with lack of practice. He dropped to his knees, wringing his hands. He heard the loft door slide open, and he looked up. He saw Lydia standing in the doorway. He stood up, and started walking toward her. "Hey Lydia" he said, relaxing. He moved toward the door slowly, and Lydia looked to her left. She pushed the door a little further. Scott glimpsed the tartan skirt, the leather jacket, the combat boots. He stopped. His knees buckled, and he dropped to the floor, tears began running down his face. Kira stepped into the loft, and saw Scott in a crumpled heap on the floor. She ran to him, wrapped her arms around him, rocked him, comforted him. He looked at her face, hands circling it lovingly. He was a mess, crying, choking. Kira fell into his arms. He held her like she was all he had. She fell onto him, not wanting to ever let him go again. He buried his head in her hair, and hugged her a little tighter. When their lips touched for the first time in a year, they both instantly felt at peace. All they needed was each other, as long as they were together, they were the happiest people alive. Lydia watched in tears. She hadn't seen Scott so happy in so long. She watched as the couple crumpled in a heap on the floor together, Scott circling Kira's body, while her head rested on his chest. She was crying aswell by this point, arms around Scott's neck, determined to never let go again. They clung to each other, unable to part. They only parted a little when they heard a scuffle at the door. Looking up, heads still pressed together, they looked to where Stiles, Lydia, Derek, Braeden, Melissa, and Chris were standing. Melissa was crying, Lydia was crying, Braeden was crying and clinging onto Derek, and Chris was evidently tearing up. Scott saw Chris and instantly felt a stab in his chest, just a reminder of the love he lost before. He clung to Kira just a little bit tighter, determined not to lose this one tomorrow. Kira understood, and held tighter too. The two stood up, supporting each other. Kira snuggled under Scott's arm, refusing to leave his side. Scott looked at his friends, his family. He burst into fresh floods of tears. Melissa ran to Scott, circling him in her arms. She stretched her arms around Kira too, and hugged her family to her chest. Kira hugged her back, hard, and Scott buried his face in his mum's neck, but still left a protective arm around Kira's waist. The group heard a crash behind them, and Liam came bursting through the door. He ran towards Scott, and threw himself at him. Scott let go of Kira for a second to hug Liam back strongly. He then pulled Stiles into a bear hug, then it was Derek's turn. Derek returned the hug somewhat stiffly, and then Braeden through her arms around Scott's neck. Meanwhile, Kira stood beside Melissa and Lydia, phoning her parents. Hayden and Kira had become close friends during the short period of time before she left, so when Hayden came barreling through the loft door, there was loud squeals as the two hugged each other. Scott turned to Chris, and offered him his hand. Chris rolled his eyes, and pulled Scott into a hug. Scott hugged Chris tight, trying to hold back more tears. Scott then pulled back suddenly. He looked round the room desperately, searching. He felt a tap on his shoulder, and he turned to see Kira. He hugged her tightly, before going in for a proper kiss. They kissed passionately, until they heard the familiar call. "Uh, guys? Do you mind?" The pair broke apart and glanced around the room full of embarrassed faces. Everyone laughed when Kira hid her face in Scott'a chest, and that's when Scott first realised he was half-naked. He looked round quickly and felt something hit his chest. He grabbed the shirt that Stiles had lobbed at him. Scott and Kira turned to all their friends. "I- I can-I can't" Scott broke down in front of everyone, and Kira fell with him. She pulled his face gently up, looking into his eyes. Without looking at anyone else, she whispered "Thank you" Everyone gathered that they should go, and started filing out. Liam and Stiles came up to Scott once more, and hugged him from behind. "Good to have you back dude" said Stiles, walking back to Lydia and placing an arm round her shoulders. Liam just hugged him, glad to have his big brother back. He then snatched up Hayden's hand and pulled her into his arms for a kiss. Stiles came back, grabbed Liam by the shirt collar, and dragged him away from Hayden. He took one last look at the couple on the floor with foreheads pressed together, and remembered the last time Scott had looked like this. It was as Allison had said "I love you" when she died. His heart had healed instantly, and then shattered again, as she took her last breath. Stiles knew his heart had been ruined when Kira left too, and he never thought it could be healed again. But as he looked at the two, he realised that it just had. Stiles nodded, and left the two to it. When everyone was gone, the pair stayed like that for quite sometime. Eventually, Kira said through tears, "I'm so sorry. I should have been here. I shouldn't have let you do that to yourself, I should have stopped you, I'm- Scott stopped her with a kiss. "You would have died if you stayed. You would have died if you stayed there any longer. It's not your fault. I should've protected you, looked after you. But now we can both heal, both get better. Because right now, right here? I have everything I need. All I'll ever need. You're all I need."
