AMICITA
"We can't keep doing this to him, caged up like a damn animal in this dungeon forever!" West feels powerless even though he is the strongest of all gods.
"We cant let him out either. We already lost two towns in seven hours just today."
Ryan knew that West wasn't talking to him. It was more like a monologue. But what his brother said was true, Mark is a threat to their fathers people any kind of living breathing thing that has some sense of emotion.
"We cant kill him." West continues " There is no way in hell Nathan will ever get me so far. He started this and innocent lives was taken. No! There has to be another way. We just need to find a way that he can learn to use his emotions even understand them better."
"Look, we are out of options. Why don't we send him to his mothers planet. If he is among their kind of people maybe he can learn how to control his emotions especially that anger that's thick in his blood. We leave him there for a while. We get the elder to bind his powers. We can leave him with his immortality. He will be safe from Nathan."
EARTHMark created a new life for himself after he was banished from Amicita by West his oldest brother, who is also now king to the throne. Not only was he shunned, his powers was bound as well leaving him only with his immortality. He was send to earth, the place where his human mother was born and raised.
The reason behind West's decision was obvious.
Life on earth is hard. It took Mark half a decade to understand these humans and their raging emotions. Not only were they imbeciles most of the time but they are very angry vicious beings, they seek revenge and hatred from their peers. Each one of them claims to be different but in the end they were all the same. They all bled the same.
All of them were roaming earth either seeking or running towards some invisible something.
Soon enough these humans fascinated him especially their want for love, fear of death and ultimately their ability to self destruct or destroy.
After understanding and accepting the fact of what he is Mark became more human. Years has passed when he decided to give back to his mother and her people and the only way was to become a healer, he needed to help these people because clearly they cant help themselves even if they wanted to.
This is where Mark became to understand that these humans are fragile: just as fragile as those Amacitians who he hurt while being a angry teen. He was strong as a god and his anger projected outwards and where ever and when ever Amacitians was close enough they would receive his anger and before you know it one would end up killing another.
The actual way that he would have been more useful would be in his godly form; unfortunately it wouldn't have been possible if he wasn't banished. It is even possible that he would have been killed by West in the end if he kept influencing those around him, even if it wasn't intended.
Like life, there is hurt that no one can be protected from. Not even a demi-god like him.
Like death... It truly is unhealable; it's something that can't be reversed and the people that is left behind their lives change completely. And the hurt that they have to deal with after putting their loved one In the ground leaves deep scars.
This is the stinging pain Mark is feeling right at this moment as he is staring down at little Billy's lifeless form. The boy's skin is white as the sheet that's covering his tiny body. His eyes were closed. It did look like Billy was still sleeping. Mark's mind stopped working as he was the one that has to declare time of death to a boy that may have been the only one that gave him hope.
