Lost Girl from NeverLand

Chapter 1

I've been in this prison since my whole life started. My momma died when I was a baby. So ever since she died this orphaned took me. At first, when I was a baby, I didn't remember much but to me it was amazing. But now I'm 12 and it's horrible. They make me clean, make dinner, and keep care of the others. I hate it. I wish my momma had never died if she didn't I'll probably be living a good life right now. I was stuck here forever. But at least I had this necklace from my momma before she died she gave it to me. It was a heart and it had some type of flute in it. I tried millions of times to open it but it never worked.

I stuck my head out of my window. Since I am always in trouble I have my own cell. In the cell, at least, it's quiet and no winning little children. I looked how all the stars were free. I wish I could be like them. My favorite star is the North star, it made me feel like there was still hope for me. One night I thought I saw something come out of it, like a little twinkle. But it was probably just my imagination.

"Marley Mon." I looked up and I saw the headmistress of the orphaned, Mrs. Crank, and then there's Mr. Crank. Trust me they are cranky. "It's time to go Marley." I hated that name. Since they thought I was supposed to be a boy they named me Marley. But when they saw that I was a girl they didn't care to change the name to a girl name. "Come on Marley I haven't got all day for you!"

"You changed me up so of course, I can't get up, you..."

"10 more hours in the cell. I guess I'll bring you your lunch, Okay." Great not again. This is my 100th time I have been in here, and of course, she will bring me my lunch... after dinner because she's so drunk sometimes she doesn't remember anything. I wish I could just fly away from here.

It's only been 12 hours and no sign of Mr. and Mrs. Crank. They probably forgot about me. One time they forgot about my friend Timi, and he starved to death it was really sad. As I watched out my window and looked at all the stars. I found my favorite star and made a wish.

"I wish I could get out of this place. Please, I will do anything." I kept looking out the window. Then this strange tiny leaf flew in and landed on the floor. It landed right in the middle of the moon's shadow on the ground. I went to go reach it but I couldn't move because of these awful tight chains. I reach once more. I grabbed it and sat with it in my hand. It was so beautiful, like a flower. I felt like it was special. I looked back down at the moon's shadow on the ground. There was a figure... THERE WAS A FIGURE!! I made a little gasp and it went away. I looked out of the window. I saw nothing. I tried to look to the right and left but the window was too small to see anything.

"Hello!" I screamed. There was a boy. A real boy, standing and looking at me through my window.

"Who are you boy?" I looked at him strangely. He looked my age, he was cute in all, but I didn't know him.

"Are you talking to me? You haven't even noticed me your whole life. I tried making you happy but you ignored me."

"Well I'm sorry but that was a long time ago and the reason why I never notice you is because I didn't really see you."

"Oh well now you do. May I come in?" I opened up the window. He crawled in, he was pretty skinny but I can fit through there, why do you think I have chains. I stared at my necklace, because it hit me in the face. I tucked it back in my shirt.

"Who are you?" He sat next to me.

"Well i'm Peter... Peter Pan. I from NeverLand."

"NeverLand what's NeverLa..."

"Shhh someones coming." I heard footsteps coming. I pulled him up and started pushing him through the window.

"Hey Peter, promise me you'll come back?"

"Oh I will Marley. Bye." The door swung opened. It was Mr. Crank. He went towards me and unchained me. I got up and started walking out the door.
