A new Home

We finally made it home after the vacation. I wanted my world to shift right back into place. As I got out of the car though, I knew I had spoken too soon. The hottest boy I had every seen was jogging by. I was mesmerized by his glistening beauty. I couldn't help but stare. As he approached me, I saw his hand come out as he slapped me smack dab on the butt. hard. He took off running and laughed. I was furious. How dare he? I took off my shoe and threw it as hard as I could, it hit him square in the head. he stopped abruptly in his tracks and turned around. I'd never seen anyone so red and angry.

"bitch", he yelled across the way.

But I knew he was just pissed. I'm sure not many girls retaliate the way I do. I just smirked, and held up my other shoe and made motions as if I was going to throw it. But he was too quick. before I knew it he ran back up to me and grabbed my wrist.

"someone's hot headed", he said.

"yeah you should work on that", I remarked smartly.

He glared down at me, his smirk disappearing. "watch yourself, not everyone is as nice as I", he warned.

"I can handle myself", I said as I tried to knee him in the stomach. He was so quick though. he turned me around and pinned me to him, my back touching his stomach. I hated the feeling of being constrained. Even if the perpetrator had a sexy 6 pack. I wiggled and pushed and screamed. But he just held on tight. we fell on the grass just as the front door opened. Toni came out not sure what to make of the situation.

"Jaelyn! I'm in charge of you for two minutes and you're already getting into trouble? " He yelled. I quickly got up and looked at my cousin. He seemed stressed. A lot happened on my vacation with my parents. I ended up having to move to Georgia with cousin Toni and his friends. Oh and how can I forget my 60 pound lab/boxer mix, Jackson, he moved with us too. He was only 1 year old.

"She started it", the sexy model said with that smirk again, pointing at me. "I guess she can't resist the pumps", he said making posses.

"Boy, shut up, leave her the alone", My cousin said, making 'shoo' motions at hot mcstuffins. I stood their opening my mouth to defend myself but Toni just held up a hand for me to shut up too. Gosh, I hated being the 'little cousin' I was perfectly capable of taking care of myself. The sexy boy just laughed and nodded.

"What's your name kid?" Toni asked.

"Carl, er.. You know your not much older than me bro" Said Sexy model boy carl.

"Shut UP! I suppose you know what it's like to pay car rent, go through heart surgery, find out that your girlfriend is pregnant with some other man's baby, and get kicked out of your own house?", dang Anthoni had had a rough year. Especially after finding out that his girlfriend was pregnant. I know this happens a lot in the movies and books, but it was different with Anthony and Murial. They hadn't had sex before. I mean, don't get me wrong Anthony had done it with other girls, but he felt different about Murial, and he decided to wait until he married her. I guess she got tired of waiting. Six years of just dating was a long time. But what do i know I haven't done anything either.

I looked back at carl. "you have no idea", Carl said and went to continue his jog. What did that mean? Had he had a rough year too? I didn't get the chance to think anymore on it because Anthoni grabbed my arm and dragged me back inside.

" You better keep your pants on while I'm watching you little cuz, and your not allowed to talk to boys" , He said in his 'oh-so-mighty' father voice. I just rolled my eyes and went up to my room. I hated the whole idea of him being my guardian. I was completely old enough to take care of myself. I was 17 and already accepted to an Ivy League School. I just had to get through this year and then my life will finally begin.
