"Bella, why do I have to come with, Jacob doesn’t even like me.” she rolls her deep brown eyes at me and smirks as I get in the car with her, knowing I wouldn’t win the argument. She is the older sister of course. She is the one that forced me to move to forks with her. And she used my shoulder to cry on the day Edward left. I don’t even know why he left, but it tore her to pieces.

“Well I need to see him.” She insists and drives to the reservation. I sit in the car as she storms into Billy’s house with a determination I've never seen. She gets inside and I look around. Some of Jacobs ‘friends’ are goofing around across the yard.

Then I see her march out of the house and walk up to them, it looks like she’s yelling and I get out of the car slowly. I walk towards them and she turns to me.

“Bella calm down dude.” She hates it when I call her dude, I see the rage build in her face and her fists clench and unclench. Then she swings at me and I fall backwards, and I land on my ass. My hand flies to my right cheek and I feel the warm tears form in my eyes.

“Bella?! What the hell was that for?!” she tries to help me up but I don’t take her outstretched hand. I stand and look at the guys who just took her yelling and they look at me in shock. One of them is shaking uncontrollably.

“Paul, calm down.” One says sternly, the boy Paul glances from me to Bella to the other guy.

“Looks like the dogs out of the bag.”  One of them smiles and Bella steps away slowly. I stand my ground and wait to see what they’re talking about.  Paul shakes more and his skin turns a deep red. The guys jump away from him and I hear Jacob from across the yard.

“Bella!” he yells and jumps off the porch then Paul turns into a giant grey wolf, then Jacob jumps over Bella and turns into a red wolf. My eyes go wide as I watch the scene play out in front of me. They bark and snap at each other. Then one lounge and they roll off into the woods.

“What the hell?!?” I scream and look at everyone wide eyed, they look at me like it’s no big deal. Two of them walk over to Bella who’s shaking on the ground and take her to her truck. They drive away and I stand still in shock.

“Hey you, what's your name?” a taller one asks, he walks over to me and towers over me intimidating.  His eyes are deep brown and stern holding authority.

“Elizabeth, but I go by Beth.” I whisper slowly he nods lightly and shakes my hand, his hand surprisingly warm.

“I'm Sam, I need you to come with Me.” he states more of an order not a question. I nod and he marches off. I follow a lot slower than he would probably like. The others that were standing around ran off into the woods somewhere. I just follow Sam slowly I feel like we’re going in circles. Sam’s carrying some clothes it looks like in his left hand, he slows down and I almost run into him. He stops and I see an opening in front of him.

“I need you to walk out there and stop them. You’re the only one that can do it.” He says sternly and I feel my stomach jump and my heart speed up. I hear the jaws snap and barks and whimpers coming from the opening. I don’t dare look.

“What do I do?” I ask slowly he smiles lightly and gives me a reassuring look.

“Just go out there and sit anything really but you’re the only one who can get his attention.” I nod and he nudges me slowly. I'm standing in the opening; I can’t believe any of this I'm just waiting for this nightmare to end so I can wake up. This doesn’t seem possible, guys who turn into wolves? It’s not right. Werewolves do not exist, emphasis on the DO NOT part.  I walk slowly and watch the ground I sit on the green grass and it tickles my bare legs. I take a deep breath and smell the air, pine trees; dampness that means it’s going to rain soon. And the darkness in the sky confirms that.
