Chapter two

Zhara's POV

Tayler and I walked through the front door of our house and hung our backpacks on the hooks near the door.

"I can't believe our eighteenth birthday is in six days!" Tayler exclaimed.

"Ahh, we will be young adults," I daydreamed. I always loved the thought of taking care of myself and having to be responsible.

Tayler on the other hand, never wants to live by herself. She is attached to mom and dad and she doesn't like having so many responsibilities.

"Zhara, Tayler, can you girls come here?" My mom asked. She had a question I guess.

"Okay!" We say at the same time, weird.....

We sit on the couch where our parents were seated.

"What do you guys want your birthday party to be themed?" Our mom asked.

Tayler and I knew that our parents would ask us this question.

"We want a singing themed party," we said together.

"Okay, that's all," my dad said.

Tayler and I headed to our room to do our homework since it is Monday.

Half an hour later I was finished with my homework. Tayler was still working hard to finish.

"You are still doing homework?" I asked.

Tayler seemed offended. "Yes, because unlike you, I don't spend all of my time studying.

Now I was offended. "Excuse me! I want to get good grades FYI!" With that I stormed out of our room.
