~The Galaxy of Strao~Welcome to Strao, the Galaxy of Possibilities. Here, countless solar systems live in perfect harmony and peace.
One such solar system is the Kloma system, home to two Suns and ten planets.
And one of those planets is Xesleia, the fourth planet from the Suns.
The planet of Xesleia is a beautiful, tropical place and home to a peaceful race known as the Xesleian's.
One of these Xesleian's is the young girl named Avila, she is the daughter of two scientists who explore the galaxy of Strao.
~The Kroa institute of science~
Avila, now seventeen years of age, stood before a long, long row of large and bulbous machines.
These were known as Qaj Emitters, which sent loud transmissions into deep space, even beyond the Strao galaxy.
Avila had arrived just in time to watch the machine operate. They span on disks and began creating loud, electronic noises. Xesleian's ears could not be affected by loud noises, however, so Avila was unbothered by the machines antics.
"Anything yet?" Avila turned on a heel to address her father, Saji. He was shorter than she and less built. He shook his head.
Avila sighed and refocused on the Qaj machines, crossed her arms and titled her blue head.
Ever since she could remember, her parents had been accepted to the institute and put in charge of the Beyond program; a program that had teams of scientists working to connect with life outside of the galaxy.
But, nothing had come out of it so far. Sure, there were a few radio signals now and again, but nothing they could pinpoint. It was the same everyday and Avila was beginning to lose faith.
But, the Gods of Strao must have been giving them good fortune that day, because something did come through.
"Holy Strao...Holy Strao! I think...it's a message."
A holograph appeared above them, showing a satellite image of the edge of Strao. There was a flashing, green light amongst the stars, which meant there was a transmission coming from that location.
"I've found out that it's coming from 6 million light years away." Her father reported. More Xesleian scientists had entered the Qaj room, murmuring and muttering about the discovery.
"This is amazing father." Avila exclaimed and twirled beneath the projection.
"Should we inform Leader Kroa?" Inquired her mother, Velda.
"Not yet, we need to know more about this transmission, perhaps decipher it." Her father replied. He sent the other scientists and researchers in the room to start studying the transmission at their own workstations.
Now only the family remained inside the massive Qaj room, dancing on the deep blue and black floors, smiling beneath the sloping ceiling and celebrating before the mighty Qaj machines.
~Nebula's End~
That night, when the Suns had set, Avila travelled to Nebula's End with her twin sister, Avaza.
They talked about their father's discovery and what it might mean to reach the source of the transmission.
"This is exciting. If they send explorers to identify the source, I want to be one of them." Avaza proclaimed, smilingly widely.
Now at the end of the bridge, which was a wide and circular platform, the sisters faced the bright and beautiful Kroma solar system. Here, it seemed the ground fell off and into space, but everyone knew there was a valley at the bottom of this drop-off.
"I as well, Avaza." Avila locked her hand in Avaza's and the two smiled at each other, then watched two ships glide up into the atmosphere.
