Chapter 2

Shawn's POV

Roslynn White, Oh that girl is something special. She is beautiful, strong, full of love , and hope. She is perfect but, I don't think that she could ever love me.

All I am is a teenage boy who can play guitar and sing a little. I'm good at school and sports but my heart is not as good as her's.

ugh, I'm tired of my mind telling me no and heart telling me yes. I need to man up and go for her.

After I got done with my self-argument, I got out of bed and text the boys,
Jack J, Jack G, Cameron, Matt, Carter,Nash, Taylor, Aaron , and Hayes. Yea there's a lot of them but they all have there own role in our group.

I asked what the plan for today was and later figured out it was the beach. I decided to go ahead and jump in the shower so I quickly did that, brushed my teeth and fixed my hair.

I changed into my grey swim trunks and pulled a tank top on. I slipped on sunglass and flip flops , grabbed my wallet and phone then went down stairs.

I enter the kitchen and find Aaliyah eating cereal. I make myself a bowl and join her.

"Are you going to the beach?" She asked."yeah my and the guys why?" " well is Hayes going to be there?" I smirked at her "yea do you have a crush" rolling her eyes she responded" no!! He is the closest of your friends my age and we are good friends Shawn!!" " go change you can come"

She darted out of the kitchen to get ready. She was back ten minutes later and we were out the door. I picked up Matt and Taylor on the way to the beach.

We sang along to the radio until Matt spoke up " hey Shawn, what beach are we going to?Leah wants to know."
"The one by Starbucks off of 14th avenue." I answered." Is Roslynn going to be there?" I said rather quickly.

"Yes Shawn will be there."He chuckled his reply.

I drive in silence for the rest of the time letting the boys and Aaliyah carry the conversation.

All that is going through my head is Roslynn. She's so beautiful. Im going to talk to her today. 100% I'm going to do it. 

 The nerves kick in as I pull in to the public parking lot. I park my JEEP and we all hope out grabbing our beach supplies. 

As we walk down to the beach seeing the girls I realize I forgot my speaker in the car so I run back up calling behind me to the guys. As I run I was totally no looking to the sides of me only in front and run straight into the road not seeing a car coming from the opposite side of me.

I hear a horn and a girl screaming my name and for me to watch out. then I see black.
