Time skip to 5 years later

Wilbur and Hiro are sitting during dinner. Still in love, still in their normal time lines, and still missing each other like hell. Wilbur stood up during dinner and ran to the garage to do a few experiments to see if he can find a way to coexist in the same timeline as Hiro like he promised 5 years ago. After 126 experiments, he finally gets it right.

"Mom, Dad, I've gotta show you something."

"Yes, sweetheart?"

"I've finally got it. Remember Hiro that guy I like?"

"Yes, we remember him."

"Well, I've found a way to be with him. I made this wristwatch to time travel to whenever and there's a button I can press to officially coexist in that timeline, even when the wristwatch is off."

Cornelius' eyes widened. "Why didn't I think of that?" Franny chuckled and they both gave Wilbur a hug. Franny's eyes teared up and she gave him a kiss on the cheek. Cornelius put his hand on Wilbur's shoulder and said, "Go get your boy back, son. We want you to be happy no matter what.. But remember to visit us every holiday and text us whenever a birthday comes up." Wilbur laughed a little. "I will, Dad."

Wilbur walked a few feet away from his parents and traveled to where Hiro was. In his room, depressed and writing a song inspired by him.

"Nice song, Hiro."

Hiro gasped at what he saw in front of him, surprised and happy he was back.

"Wilbur?"

"You know, a little "thank you" would be nice."

"Wilbur!" He said running to him and hugging him. Wilbur hugged back and kissed him.

"I told you I'd find a way. I missed you so much and you look great!"

"Thank you, you too and I missed you like hell! I thought you'd forgotten about me!"

"I would never forget the man I loved the most. Oh and I've got something to show you."

"What is it?"

Wilbur reached in his pocket and kneeled down. "I never thought I'd do this to a guy, but he's the guy who made me feel like I could do anything, the guy who was my shoulder to cry on, the guy who swept me off my feet and the guy I knew I would love forever. Will you make me the happiest gay guy in the world and marry me?"

Hiro's stomach was full of butterflies and his mind was all over the place. He never though anything like this would happen, but he loved Wilbur so much and said yes. Wilbur put the ring on his finger and they kissed once more, already visualizing their future and falling deeper and deeper in love
