Chapter 2- Distance

(A/N) This book isn't based off the show. Just making it up as I go.

Veronica's POV
Two days had passed since Betty and I's kiss and her mother's meltdown. We did even get the chance to explain ourselves because her Mom immediately kick me out. Literally. She forced me out the door and yelled "STAY AWAY FROM DAUGHTER!"

I tried calling and texting Betty but she never responds. At school, I try to get her attention but she just walks away. Everyone looks at me like Im trash, I guess word gets around quickly.

I wish Betty would just talk to me. I want to know what she felt when we kissed. I need to know if she is okay. So much for change. I'm walking to my locker and I see Betty. I started walking up to her and as soon as she saw me she started walking away.

I reached for her and and she immediately snatched it away. "I just want to talk—""LEAVE ME ALONE Y-YOU DYKE!" Betty yelled out of anger but slightly hesitant . She ran away. My heart was torn to pieces. I started to crying in front of a lot of people. I was so vulnerable in front of so many people, this has never happened to me before.

This wasn't the Betty that I know. She would never hurt someone intentionally. I bet her Mother has something to do with this. And I'm going to find out one way or another.

Betty's POV
I can believe what I just did. I hurt Veronica's feelings in front of a lot of people. I really wanted to just turn back and hold her but my mom would kill me. My mom said I couldn't hang out with her anymore because she's Lodge and to her they aren't good people.

To me Veronica is sweet but powerful, charming but determined. I have feelings for her and I can't show them because my Mother is the devil spawn and thinks I'll turn out like Polly. I'm not Polly. I bet Veronica hates me now and I don't blame her if she does.

I just remembered that I have cheerleading practice with her. My life is a living hell. But I have to go or Cheryl will kill me too. Well... hopefully Veronica won't notice me.

Cheerleading Practice ...

I'm stretching and I see Veronica walking towards me. Great the one thing I didn't want. I started to get really nervous. She had that determined face. A very sexy determined face. She grabbed me, pulling me up off the ground and immediately connected our lips together.

God, it felt like heaven, i didn't have a care in the world. Once our lips disconnected and we stared straight into each other's eyes "Woah." I said out of surprise. " I don't care what you're mom or anyone says I love you and I hope you feel the same or I'm going to feel like a complete idiot." Said Veronica slightly giggling at the end.

"I love you too Roni." She had a big smile on her face "God I love it when you call me that." The beautiful brunette said smiling. Our moment cut short by slow clapping by Cheryl. "Great for you two but we have practice and we're wasting time." Cheryl said with bitchiness.

We both rolled our eyes, with the biggest goofy smiles on our lips still and got into formation.

Veronica's House

Veronica's POV

Betty and I are cuddling on couch watching tv because she didn't want to face her mom just yet. I'm not even paying any attention to the tv. I was to busy staring at Betty. Running my fingers through her perfect blonde hair.

"What are you staring at Roni." I hear Betty say. "The most beautiful woman I've ever seen." I said causing her to blush. It was silent for a moment until I spoke up"Betty would you like to be my girlfriend?" I asked straight forward.

She was surprisingly quiet. " I would love to but my mother would kill me." She said quietly." She kill you even if she tried because she would have to go through me first." I said passionately. She smiled "Then I would love to be your girlfriend."Betty said happily.

I flipped her off her side so I was straddling her and we started kissing. This turned into heated make out session until walked in my mom. "Hello ladies. Having fun." She said with a big surprising smile on her face.
