Women are brought down or thought of lesser because they are women. But, because of this shaming and mistreating, women have a tendency to believe they are better.
I'm not saying men are better. I'm not saying men are better. I'm saying, we ALL face problems because of our sex/gender.Problems Men Face:
¤Many men are afraid to show their feelings or are more sensitive because "men are supposed to be the strong ones", or "men are sensitive, be a man". There is no such thing as "being a man", only being human.
¤Because of the media, people have a certain image of what a woman should look like. Starting at a young age, this impression effects everyone. This means, boys/men are also led to believe what a woman should look like and how they should act, leading to them offending women and seeing no wrong in such.
¤"Men are supposed to be taller." "The man is supposed to protect their girl/woman." Yeah, no, not true. Height doesn't matter, please everyone, enough with thinking looks matter! And, it's okay if a man protects a woman, but the woman is also supposed to protect. It's mutual. Love is mutual.
¤Because of the many men who show injustice towards women, there are men who aren't like that but are labeled such. That's stereotype. There are men who respect women, and some women show disrespect because they get offended by everything they say or believe men are just bad all together. Let's forget about "women empowerment" and "boy empowerment" and just start "human empowerment".
Problems Women Face:
¤Because of many causes, women are disrespected by men just because they are women.
¤At a young age, they begin to believe what a woman is supposed to be - so they don't realize, it's better to be you and good to be different.
¤Women have begun to believe that they are better, but genders have no play in such. I agree, there are times you have to cut it down to genders just to prove women can do things too, but at the end of the day we are human. Human. Woman. Man. We are all the same thing.
¤Many women develop eating disorders, depression, suicidal actions, etc., due to body shaming and what others' opinions do to them.
Problems WE ALL Face:
¤We all hate on each other.
¤We all think we're better than each other.
These aren't all of the problems, but some.
Stop fighting for your specific gender (or another), and start fighting for everyone.
