The Date

We were on our way to (name of coffee shop) but there was an awkward silence. I wanted to wait untill we got to (name of coffee shop) to say anything but it was really awkward. Eventually (y/n) broke the silence, "Why are you so dressed up?" I didn't know what to say so I didn't say anything. "I mean, you look great, but why so dressed up", (y/n) said this so casually. I blushed, "Well, i thought today would be a good day, so I dressed up," I said this nervously and it was hard not to studder. "I guess today is a good day, I ran into a pretty girl," (y/n) said this and i started blushing even harder. We finally arrived at the coffee shop. He held the door open for me. "T-thank you," I said in a rush.

Time SKIP: at table with coffe talking
"So, what are your hobbies?" (y/n) stared at me waitimg for an answer. "Well, I like to draw, read, and watch cartoons." (Y/n) looked confused, "Cartoons? You watch cartoons?"
"Well yeah, you don't..." I was worries that i messed up, what did i say wrong? "Of course i watch cartoons, i just didnt expect such a pretty person to watch them too" (y/n) said this and my heart melted.

"Hey," he said, "we should take a picture, to well, remember this!" I nodded in agreement, I took it with my phone. "Hey, send that to me," (y/n) said swiftly. "Wait, i dont have your number," after saying that i realised what he did, he was giving me his number in such a sly way. "That's okay here, let me put it in your phone," he grabbed my phone and started to put his number in. He gave me my phone back, i wont be changing the case for a while.

We chatted for a bit and we decided to leave, he suggested we went to the park downtown. I thought it was a great idea.
