I was in heaven walking hand in hand with the guy ive been in love with since sixth grade. Deshawn James. He walked me to my locker as people stop and stared, I didn't care. He held me tight from behind against his warm abs hiding behind a Lakers shirt with his snapback to match. After i got the things i would need for my first class i closed my locker and he spun me around so my eyes met his. He leaned down for a kiss and whispered against my lips "I love you, Nicole". There I was ready to get the kiss that Ive been waiting for since I was 12. But, of course someone had ruin everything. And that someone is??? Yes my best friend,Janna. "Nicole,snap out of it youre drooling!!'' She yelled
''I am not'' I said tearing my gaze from that beautiful sight.
''Oh my gosh'' she said as she looked down at her cereal.
''What?!?!'' I turned to see what she was talking about. There he was so tall and fit... and he was coming towards me. I turned quickly staring at her face just as surprised as mine."How do I look?'' I said frantically trying my best to seem calm and cool as he sat next to me.
''Hey!'' he said with that beautiful smile that i loved so much.
''Hey!'' I said trying not to sound as giddy and eager as I felt.
''Imma go over there real fast, be right back.'' Janna said pointing towards a table filled with the football team.
''Alright, see you in first'' I said returning my attention to D.J even though I almost forgot he was there.
''So are you coming to the party??'' he asked looking down at his hand as he played with the bottom of my jacket, my insides melting.
''Party?'' I asked a confused look on my face.
''Yeah over at my house you coming?''
''Sure, when is it??"
''Friday at 8''
''Ok ill be there'' I said as I twisted the end of my hair with my finger as he touched my hand.
''Great cant wait'' He smiled and stood up to walk away.
"Oh my gosh Nicole you are about to kill everyone at this party'' she said smiling as she fixed her hair in a side ponytail curling the ends.
I pulled on my red botttom silver sparkly stilletos that went perfectly with my black mid thigh dress that had a silver band just under my breasts. I was ready. I grabbed my keys and stuffed my IPhone in my bra.
When we pulled up i was amazed at everything that was happening. People running around like idiots guys throwing up in bushes. It was completely ridiculous I was in the mood to just leave, but i didnt because i remembered what i was here for. it was more lik who i was here for.
We stepped in and I amediately found him standing, looking for someone he saw me and was elbowing anyone in his way to try and get to me.
Hey'' he said '' you made it''
I smiled as he took my hand and led me up the stairs.
