I do not just love One Direction. I love Niall James Horan, Louis William Tomlinson, Harry Edward Styles, Liam James Horan, and Zayn Jawaad Malik. I don't love them because they're attractive, I love them because they can make me smile when nothing else can. They can make the darkest days lighter. They can make everything seem okay again. I've gone through a lot this past few years, then I started listening to their music. And I know I'll be ridiculed for not being "an original fan" because I wasn't there from the start, but I live in the U.S so I couldn't exactly watch X Factor that year as much as I wanted to. But no matter when a fan became a fan, they're all there (hopefully) for the same reason, to support them.
They taught me that once you set your mind to something there's always a chance for success. That even when you lose everything, that at least you'll still have hope. Each of them isn't just a pretty face, they mean so much to me. They each have so much to offer musically and as people. Each of them has so much talent that I can't even believe.
Harry taught me to not let what people say stop me from pursuing my dreams. That you stand up for what is right and protect your friends no matter what.
Liam taught me that you learn through your past and it makes you better, you don't let them get in the way, you learn from them.
Niall taught me you don't need to be perfect to be beautiful because you are who you are, and there's nothing ou can do to change that, and you shouldn't want to.
Zayn taught me that you don't need to succeed through everything to put yourself to the top, that you grow through the hardships that come your way.
And Louis taught me to keep a smile on my face even through the darkest of times because there will always be people who think you're not good enough but that shouldn't stop you from going for what you want.
They all taught me that even when you have nothing, you have hope. As long as you have your friends, you can always have a good time and go through anything to get you through the day because you're perfect the way you are, and nothing can change that.
