Dermatologists                                               Those Undertakers

and Orthopaedic surgeons                         dig, bury, burn - profiting

deal in skin and bones.                                 all so solemnly.

Archaeologists                                                 Estate Agents work

disturb the chaotic past                               fitting bums into houses -

seeking lost fathers.                                       sometimes antique ones.

An Optometrist -                                              Rubbish collectors

that's the person who helps you              may be lucky - find treasure

see a bright future.                                         or go home GRIMY.

You can claim to work                                  Roadsweepers wear out

being a Taxidermist                                      their stiff brushes; our litter

doing some kids stuff.                                  keeps them hard at it.

The Executive                                                  Butlers and Poachers

perspires little underarm -                         live off aristocratics -

workers really sweat.                                   know the ins and outs.

Wrapped in shining suits                            Farmers dredge their ponds;

Salesmen, distanced by fragrance,        mankind hasn't yet bothered

long to close the deal.                                 to clean up the seas.

A Pastrycook's life                                         Let Robots take your jobs -

is devilish hard,  but look                           insist they give you money -

delicate dainties.                                            relax and enjoy.

Cookbooks rarely tell                                   Socialist Robots

the despised but useful toil                       will build mansions for us all

of tired kitchenmaids.                                 and share out the wealth.

The task of miners                                         Some Beggars work hard

employed  to scrape the  coal face-        sitting in the cold and wet -

scrape to make ends meet.                        ignored, tenacious.

Work was DIRTY once;                                  The Entrepreneur said

often now it's worrying                               'I've kicked people in the gutter

despite MBAs.                                                   to get this far.'
