*Flash back to 4 years ago*
"Happy 10th birthday Bailey!" Dad runs into my room and plants a big kiss on my cheek.
"Thanks dad!" He gives me a big present covered in Christmas wrapping paper.
"Sorry - I didn't have time to go buy more birthday wrapping paper but the outside doesn't matter. Is what's inside that counts!" I unwrap the present and see a few things. First there is a diary all covered in glitter and sparkles. Next there is a pair of Nike runners that I have been wanting for a long time. Last of all - something that I really am curious about - is a red Swiss Army knife.
"Dad? Why do I need a knife?"
"Well. Everyone in the history of Dolan's has had this knife and one day you will pass it onto your children. It is for self defence and if you are ever in danger but promise me you won't use it to hurt anyone ever..."
"Ok dad, I promise" we hug each other and I get up to get ready for school.
"Uncle Ethan is coming over in five minutes"
"Yay! I'll be ready"

"Happy birthday big girl!" Uncle Ethan yells from the front door. I run down stairs to greet him. He runs to me and hugs me.
"Here you go B" he hands a envelope. I rip it open and see a card reading "Today Your 10!" I open it and a $50 note slips out.
"Thank you!" I bend down and pick up the money.
"Aren't you going to read the card?" I open the card again: Dear Bailey, Happy Birthday! Your so old now. Your dad and I love you so much. Even though you may have had a rough past, everything will be ok soon. Love Uncle Ethan.
I close the card and hug him again.
"There is something else in the card..." he whispers into my ear, not wanting dad to hear. I open the card for the last time and take another look. At bottom there are a set of numbers : 1, 11, 25, 19, 19, 1_18, 15, 19, 5. I stare at it confused.
"What is it?" he looks to see if Grayson is watching.
"One day you will figure it out and it will help you and your dad, just not yet. Don't loose this, ok?" I nod.
"Bailey! Time to go to school!" I hug Uncle Ethan one last time and run upstairs to put the card away. I put it under my bed and into my memory box. The numbers keep on repeating in my head...
*Back to present day*
What did those numbers mean? Uncle E was always sending me signs, maybe those numbers meant something. Although 4 years ago I worked on that code for about 3 months, I figured out nothing. Uncle Ethan said that one day i would figure it out and help me and dad. Well dad did need help. I run upstairs and grab the mystery box. I rummage through the box and found the card. 1, 11, 25,19,19,1_ 18,15,19,5. They still make no sense! I sit on my bed and think about the numbers. Maybe they are letters, but how will i figure it out? Unless... 1 it the first letter of the alphabet and so on. 1 = A, 11 = L, 25 = Y, 19 = S, 19 = S, 1 = A, 18 = R, 15 = O, 19 = S, 5 = E... Alyssa Rose? Who is Alyssa Rose? I text Uncle Ethan as he is the one who sent me the card.
Bailey: Hey Uncle E, I figured out what the numbers mean.
Uncle Ethan: What numbers B?
Bailey: The ones that spell Alyssa Rose
Uncle Ethan: Oh. Call me...
I call Uncle E
"Bailey is your dad home?"
"No, he is still in recovery from last night. What actually happened to him, i called him this morning but he said it was nothing"
"He is right, nothing happened to him he was just found in the hospital unharmed"
"Then why hasn't he come back! Is it because of Alyssa Rose?!" I yell into the phone.
"Keep your voice down! Alyssa Rose was Grayson's ex girl friend"
"Didn't she die Uncle E?"
"Yes, and i believe that she is back to haunt Grayson"
"But why?!"
"15 years ago Grayson was madly in love with Alyssa. They were going to get married, they had it all figured and and Alyssa was expecting a child, but then Grayson started to have feelings for someone else. Alyssa found out and fell into a deep depression. She ended up committing suicide, hoping that Grayson would get the blame. She had planned everything so it would look like he had actually killed her. She had even payed people to say that he had. After a long two years of going to court and having interviews, they finally let Grayson go to live a normal life. They figured out that it wasn't him and that Alyssa was actually a madwoman who had committed a murder only 3 years before she met Grayson. Ever since Grayson was called "innocent", weird things have been happening. I figured it was Alyssa."
"Woah..."
"Yeah I know"
"But you said Alyssa had a baby..."
"She did."
"Well, where is she?"
"She is you, Bailey. Alyssa is coming back to get you..."
