Aadi's P.O.V

So I picked both her parents and my mum too... And now here we are, eating dinner at my place. I just don't get it, why they have to be so serious while eating dinner. One can eat it while.....

"Ahmmm....Aarohi, its been a while, you know since I and your mother were thinking about this, and we both think that this is the best time for you to choose your life partner." Aarohi's father said.

"And since I know how much careless you can be with your life, So me and your mother did that for you. And by that I mean that we already have chosen a life partner for you" Aarohi wasn't shocked but she was furious and outraged by hearing those words from her own father's mouth.

"I know you are angry with us, but you have to understand that, whatever we are doing, its for your own good. And just before you speak anything or refuse to hear, I would like to tell you that, We've chosen 'Aadi' for you."

"NO Dad, how could you? You know that me and Aadi are best friends you can't just simply go and take my life decisions all by yourself, and how could you even think about that, that me and Aadi... No way dad! I...I just....."

And she left the dinner, I have never seen her so angry all my life. Am I that bad that she doesn't even wanna consider marrying me.

"I'll just go and see her" I said and left too.

"Aarohi....Aarohi, wait ya. What's wrong with you?"

"What's wrong with me? Aadi are you out of your mind seriously? You are asking me that. Aadi what's wrong with you? How can you take this conversation so lightly. They were talking about our marriage. OUR MARRIAGE. FOR GOD'S SAKE. How can they do this to us?"

"Why Aarohi, am I not a good person to get married with????"

"Aadi, I never said that and you know it. Its not like that. You are the best person. Any girl would be lucky to have you" she replied ever so softly, she might have seen the disappointment in my eyes.

"Then why you are not happy. Doesn't I make you feel lucky enough."

"Aadi...I.."

"I love you Aarohi. I really do. I have been in love with you all this time. I am sorry. I shouldn't maybe, but I just couldn't stop myself. I LOVE YOU AAROHI SHARMA."
