Request: Harry gets hurt and Simon comforts him
Simon didn't like to consider himself as clumsy. He would prefer to think that things just always happened to be in his way, stuff always seemed to be slippery when he was walking on it, and the boys just happened to bump into him at the most convenient times to make me fall on my arse.
Ethan and JJ were the worst. They loved seeing him fall on his arse and embarrass himself. Mostly because they loved it whenever anyone was put in an embarrassing situation and they could laugh from the sidelines. Josh and Harry didn't usually make it happen, but they sure didn't help out when it did, if they saw one of the other two about to do something, they never thought to warn him; and Vik and Tobi were the two nicest who usually tried to help him back up.
But, Simon had never gotten hurt. At least not seriously. Of course he had some bumps and bruises and every so often he'd tweak his ankle or something, but nothing so bad he'd be sent be to the doctor. He guessed he could consider himself lucky, at least luckier than Harry.
The one time the youngest tripped, they were on their way into a meet and greet and the fans had been lined up for hours. By the time they got there, they were anxious and wanting to see all of them. The door was blocked off and they were forced to push their way through.
It was actually fun most of the time. It got a little stressful or nerve-wracking if they couldn't find their way, but for the most part, it was a good way to interact with fans. Simon had the lucky advantage of height, as did Josh and JJ, so they weren't pushed around too much, and could hold their ground.
Then, Ethan had the stocky strong build. Simon had never seen him pushed around much, maybe a stumble here and there but he'd never hit the ground. While Vik and Tobi were slick with good balance, and were good at sliding through the little spots that opened up between fans and getting to where they needed to be. The blond admired that, it was almost a graceful dance, him getting to the door.
Harry was the second to last of them, Simon was at the back. He didn't really have an advantage. For one, he was too nice, he didn't want to hurt anyone by pushing them out of the way. Two, he tended to get distracted which resulted in him being yanked or tugged one way or another. Third, he had shit balance. Simon would say Harry was clumsier than him but he did dumb and risky stuff all the time so it was hard to tell. It didn't usually matter though.
Now, it did. He was being pushed, shoved, clawed at, and screamed at. To add onto that it was an early morning meet up, they were all groggy and still waking up. In short, he looked miserable. He tried to keep a smile on for everyone and Simon kept his eye on him as much as possible, not wanting him to get thrown down on accident.
It was only a split second, but the youngest's face turned into one of pain. He quickly recomposed himself and tried to keep going forward but Simon knew that face anywhere. That fake smile that he had when he was hiding something, usually from Simon and the rest of the boys. The blond hurried toward him and managed to put an arm around his shoulder.
Harry looked up at the older boy in relief and Simon smiled down at him, shuffling with him towards the door and then falling through to where the rest of the boys were waiting, slightly out of breath.
"What took you two so long?" JJ asked as Simon led Harry over to a couch, to see just what was wrong with him.
"Are you alright?" Simon asked him.
Harry sighed a little bit and his eyes closed in pain as he tried to keep himself in check, the others had all gathered around by that point and Simon looked him over, trying to see what it was before he choked it out, "Ankle."
