The Secret of Kagome's Past

What are you hiding Kagome?

    Night had fallen and Kagome once again and sneaken out of Kaede's to the forest and to the sacred tree. As she stood in front of it she reached for the spot Inuyasha had been pinned to for fifty years, then giggled at the memory and her thought. "If only you knew...I guess you never noticed since I keep it well hidden" She giggled again at her words. She looked up at the crescent moon, the thing she that was precious to her, and smile a bit sadly and sighed. " It's been a long time since we've talked, why do I have to keep this secret from him...I guess it's because I know he won't except me for it...he thinks I'm human too.." She giggled. "Man is he wrong!" She smirked. "Well I must be going...I'll speak to you again tomorrow." Then she headed back to the hut.

     As she entered she saw Inuyasha staring at her. "Where the hell have you been" he snapped and she rolled her eyes. "I just went for a walk okay...jeez you don't always need to know.where I am!" He growled, her eyes flashed red. "Do not growl at me" He immediately stopped as he saw her eyes flashed red again. "Kagome...y-your eyes they..." She looked at him curiously. "What do you mean?" He shook his head. "Nevermind..." she shrugged. The sun started rising, and Kagome started cooking breakfast for Inuyasha, Kaede, and herself, since Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara were off to Sango's village to fix her weapons. "Whatcha cooking Kagome?" She smiled. "Eggs, bacon, and my famous french toast" he looked at her curiously. "What's french toast?" She giggled and shoved a piece in his mouth." This is good" He said smiling, she smiled again.

        The day past by quickly and Kagome was feeling uneasy, Inuyasha noticed this and wanted to ask what was wrong, but then his demon started talking. *Hello Inuyasha, you know why I'm here don't you...* His demon said, and Inuyasha sighed. 'Yes I do there's somethingwrong with Kagome...she smells different, her eyes were red, and at one point I thought I saw her back had scars one night wonder what they are from?' His demon laughed. *I know what she is...She's not human I'll tell you that...* Inuyasha's eyes went wide. "You okay Inuyasha?" He got up, and held out his hand. "I need to talk to you...alone..." She nodded and got up. When they got to the sacred tree Inuyasha had turned to face her. "Kagome tell me the truth..." She tilted her head curiously at his words. "Tell you what?" He pushed her against the tree, but not hard enought to hurt her. "I know you're keeping something from me, like you not being human! so...what the hell are you!" He growled at her, and her eyes went wide." H-how'd you know I wasn't..." He growled again. "Tell me!" She whimpered as he said that a bit loudly. "F-fine I-I'm a..."
