I asked “Can I sit here with you guys.”
And the one girl in the blue shirt that read “pink” and blue jeans said “NO.”
so I said “Okay”, and walked away back to the other lunch table where my books were.
A few classes later I was in biology then there was a knocking at the door. I saw a kid that worked in the office so i thought to myself “ I guess we are getting a new student wound who they are?”, and then in walked Abby. She greets Mrs. B, the bio teacher said that she is new to the school. Mrs. B says to the class “kids this is Abby Martin.”
Then Mrs. B told Abby to find any empty seat and have a seat. It happened to be that the only open seat was right next to me. When she sat down next to me she said “Hi, I am Abby.”
I said to her “ Hi, I am Bobby.”
Then we shook hands, I asked her where she moved from.
She answered “Mars.”
I looked at Abby with a strange look on my face.
she said “I am joking with you I am from Texas.”
I asked her “What part of Texas are you from.”
She said “ I am from Dallas, Texas.”
Then I asked her what class she had next and she showed me her schedule and she had art next. For the rest of the class time we did not talk. After bio I went to english class. When I walked into the classroom. I heard from the PA system some stranger's voice say “No one leaves this building until I say so.”
Then in the background I hear a police officer say “PUT YOUR HANDS UP NOW,”
Then over the P.A. system I heard gunshots and screaming. Then a lady's voice said “Internal lock down get out now.”
Then I threw a school desk threw a window and told the teacher to get the other kids out and to go to the other classroom window and do the same.
The teacher asked “what are you going to do”
I said “I am going to save the girl I love.”
Teacher said “ok I will see you when you get out.” Then the teacher cleared a path through the window and helped the children out. The teacher then helped with the other classrooms. While I headed to the art room to get Abby. On my way there I stopped to get some friends of mine to help me. The first two people that I called and told them to meet me in the big gym where Alex and Derek, aka “The Twin Towers.” The next person that I told to meet me in the gym was Mr. Brown, my last years science teacher. Then I asked the janitor if the principal had a hidden gun for protection somewhere. He said “yes,but it is in the principal's office behind the painting on the right hand wall as you walk in the door. Here I’ll show you which painting I mean.” Then the janitor and I went to his little room and said “I have surveillance cameras in my office.” So we went through the other door in the little room. In there was a huge wall of flat screen tv’s with all the surveillance for the school. The janitor pointed at the principal's office he said “right there is the painting with the lock boxes that have the handgun and ammo in it, but you will need the keys for the doors you have to go through and the lock boxes too.” So the janitor gave me the spare keys and told us to hurry up because the shooters were searching for people to hold hostage. After we walked down the hallway I saw a shooter at the other end of the hallway. So I motioned for everyone to get out of the hallway. I also told Abby to get out of the school and get to work and don’t worry about me.
Abby said “ok, as long as you promise me that you will try not to get hurt. Because I love you.” Then she kissed me on my lips. Right then I knew why I had to stay alive. So I could live my life happy with Abby. But I need to focus on the shooters. The one shooter was coming up the hallway. Alex was at the other end with two pipes in his hands. when the shooter came out into the other hallway, Alex hit the shooter in the head with the pipes. That was our plan, but one problem where would we get the pipes from? Then I found some rope, so when the shooter came past the end of the hallway Alex tackled him. I took the shooter's gun and Derek hog tied the shooter. I called Abby to see how she was doing.
She said “I am fine, but someone sliced my car tires and your truck tires too. Now I can’t make it to work today.”
I said “ look in your coat pocket!”
She said” why do I have your truck keys?”
I said “ because I put them there, in the bed of my truck there is a new set of tires for my brother’s truck but they fit my truck be safe. Do you know how to change a tire?”
She said “yeah I do, and thanks.”
“Okay, I love you and thanks for letting me use your truck.”
“Your welcome, I got to go, I love you.”
After I hung up the phone, I said to the others “are we going to just sit here like sitting ducks or are we going to save the day?” We all said let's save the day. Then I said “let's go save the day then.” Then all of us headed down to the main office. Then Mr. Brown spotted another shooter, We all stopped and went down the other hallway that lead to the tunnels under the first floor of the school. There we came up with another plan of shooting tennis balls at the shooter and leaving it run while we escaped to the office. We went into the office and I said to Mrs.Brown “May I have the keys and keep watch for the shooters.” When I found the picture the lock box was behind. I opened it and took the gun and ammo out and loaded the gun. We proceeded around the school shooting the shooters kneecaps so they would be enabled to walk or anything. After all was said and done cops went in and arrested the shooters. There were six shooters in all. In the end there were no casualties.
Five years later...Abby and I are engaged, we have two dogs, one child. Abby can’t wait for two months from now because she will be Mrs. Abby Wright. Abby is so happy to become a Wright, She has met all of my family member already. I have not met any of her family members but, I will at the wedding.
