Clarke's POV:
I'm kind of nervous about going to The Arcadia High School today. My parents split up and my dad moved out so I decided to go with him, start a new life somewhere else. I'm not very good at making friends so I don't know how today is gonna go. "Morning Clarke , do you want breakfast?" My dad asks, smiling as I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Okay." I reply as he slides me a plate of pancakes across the table. "Thanks." I smile at him and he returns it. "Are you nervous for your first official day at Arcadia High?" He asks looking slightly worried, he also knew I wasn't the best at making friends. "Not really." I say but he knew I was lying, "It'll be okay, they'll love you.' He says to me and I give him a small smile. "I should go now." I say quietly and hop off of the chair. "Okay honey, bye." "Bye." I lock the door behind me and jump into my jeep, driving off towards Arcadia High. I pull up and park my jeep into one of the spare spaces. I open the door and hop out walking towards the doors. Suddenly a brown haired girl with a beaming smile on her face jumps in front of me. "Hi, you must be Clarke the new girl. I'm Octavia and I'm here to help you settle in to Arcadia High." She says quickly and I match my smile to hers. "Umm... Okay sure, Octavia." I say to her and her smile grows wider. "We don't have the same class first, but you can find me at lunch in the cafeteria to meet my friends." "Okay, thanks." I say to her, maybe I wasn't so bad at making friends after all. I walked through the doors of Arcadia and smiled, there were people everywhere, laughing and smiling. Suddenly I feel someone bump into me, knocking me over and in the process, causing me too drop all my books. I look up to see who it was and my eyes meet a brown eyed boy with curly hair that stopped just above his chin. He was kind of adorable. "Omg I'm so sorry...princess." I wondered why he called me that but then I looked down at my shirt and realised that it has the word 'princess' written on it in silver.
"It's okay..." "Bellamy." He says and smirks, making me blush slightly. "Bellamy." I repeat and smile. He bends down to pick up my books and passes them to me, with the sam smirk still on his face. "I'm Clarke." I say finally and he smiles. "I think I'll call you princess instead." I sigh and he turns around and walks off. I hear the bell go and curse under my breath, I couldn't be late on my first day here. I run towards my first class of the day, English and as I walk in all eyes turn to look at me. I blush, everyone is still looking at me when the teacher stands up walks over to me. "Everyone this is our new student, Clarke Griffin." He smiles at me and I return a small one. "Hi." I sat quietly and everyone continues to stare at me,then points towards a seat and I realise it's next to Bellamy. As I walk over to him, he smirks again and says "Hello again Princess." "I would appreciate it if you didn't call me that Bellamy." I sit down and roll my eyes at him. He just continues to smirk and stare at me. "Sorry princess but you brought it on yourself by wearing that shirt." He says and I roll my eyes once more. "Shut up." I say, turning away from him but I could feel his eyes burning a hole in my back. This was going to be a long day.
