It was the day you finally got to meet up with Shawn after bumping into him. You are really nervous because, it was your first ever date and, it was with Shawn Mendes. You were getting more nervous with every minute that passed. What if Shawn doesn't like me? You think to yourself. That's not possible! Stop it Y/N! You check your phone to see what time it is. It's almost time to get going. You don't know if you should eat before or after your date. You play it safe and eat before you leave. Shawn texts you, I cannot wait to see you Y/N!! the text says. You are able to breathe finally. Shawn always calms your nerves. Him and his music so, you decide to play some of his music hoping, it won't get stuck in your head.
Once you get to the café you see Shawn right away. You smile brightly at the sight of him. You jog/walk over to him because, he saw you too. Shawn stands up and gives you a hug. You squeeze him to slow down the moment.
"How are you Y/N?" Shawn asks.
"I'm doing good. How are you?" You ask in return.
"I am doing well! Thank you for asking!" Shawn exclaims.
"You're welcome!" You say.
You and Shawn order some coffee and talk for a while. You guys talk way after your coffee is gone. Sadly Shawn looks at the time and sees that he needs to get home so his parents don't get worried. You can feel your heart sink when Shawn hugs you goodbye. You've never liked saying goodbye. You cannot stop hoping that you and Shawn will say hello again. You always say; the worst goodbyes lead to the best hello's. You think that is true.
You text Shawn. I had a really great time. Thank you for that. You read over the text and press send.
I had a really great time too! I hope we can meet up again! Shawn replies seconds later.
