chapter 2 the outpost

Yesterday where i rescued my men it was bloody and my vound was geting infected i needed to get some medical help fast or i will die not even in a battle field my memories are scarce from the ship battle i cant remember much only partly things just pop up in my mind i just wish we will win this war fast

old man veteran: general i think i should introduce myself i am azrael one of your loyal servants

General feriahii: what hapened in the first place have you heard of other generals?

azrael: no sir we all are cut off but when we received the last messege they were still holding on good they arent going to win this war easy sir

General feriahii: good thats what we need just a little hope.......look smoke

we saw the smoke and rushed there as fast as we could when we arived we only saw dead bodies and burned down village the bodies of the villagers there were no mercy in the war but not against theyre own people thats the sad part of war the ones you were swore to protect just get mauled by your own troops this was generals lucas men for sure only mercenaries clean this place up so easily with no heart propably were still loyal to the empire

i wish the war would never happen but thats the only thing im good at

memories: general lucas was alwais a turncoat from the start but we needed him for the empire he was just a mercenary himself nothing more he even stole from the empire and dragged them into him own agendas but he didnt start this war he would never dare it would only ruin him it was some of the other generals most propably barbarosa did it he was the most cruelest and most powerfull general hes armys were only loyal to him but not empire i was the one with the smallest army but my army mostly consisted out of elite and veterans loyal only to the empire and its citizens

azrael: merceneries sir let us look around and find something usefull or any survivors

I didnt say a word to him i was in my thoughts where to go now while i remembered there is an outpost nearby maybe we still have it under control the outpost wasnt too bit should have atleast 200 men ofcours if theres anione still there or still under empires control

General feriahii: were moving out were going to outpost now we have no other choice

azrale: but sir your wound you wont hold on much longer

general Feriahii: oh i will be fine you dont even know what im capable of

we set off took some water from the well everything else was gone the war leaves no one alive and everione alwais looses if you turn against your own kind

General feriahii: we gotta be carefull there still could be mercenaries around so lets keep on slow paths

azrael: theyre burning the land down and killing off the people we gotta stop them fast

General feriahii: we will

-----------------------------------------------------AT THE OUTPOST-----------------------------------------------------

the outpost was old and made of stone it still had the empires flag on it and my flag near it

memories: every general had one flag to represent from which general's army it is each general chooses theyre own flag but near it must alwais be the empires flag my flag was completely white with black knight helm around which are wings around it my men were mostly in black and dark red  lucas armies had yellow colours in theyre armies atleast we know against who were up

the outpost still had our flag on it but it was sieged by the mercenaries didnt had any heavy wepeonry atleast some look for us we did knew  a way in through a cave so we got inside the fort and saw the responsible for the outpost captain HiddenHeart

HH: general feriahii i am glad to see you here but where are your other men?

General feriahii: dead most propably or captured

HH: but what hapened?

General feriahii: took 2 ships here to raise a new army but were stopped near the coast by lucas fleet we were destroyed fastly and i woke up on the shore

HH: we are under siege they want to starve us to death we are more then them but they have us at advantage outside and killing off anione who exits with arrows from forest

General feriahii: i already got a plan how we can win this

HH: i am at your comand

the plan was pretty simple lucas archers were in the forest part near the outpost and some of footman nearby closing off anione the outpost was on a mountoun and there was only 1 known way in but we had another way in the cave they dindt know about it we arranged chawalry at the gates ready to attack while the rest of the men exited the cave and prepared to attack the archers

the horn sounded and the men attacked the archers all archers attacked the attacking force from the forest and then the gate of the outpost opened chawalry rushed out slaughtering the footman and archers the enemy started to flee but chavalry took care of them quicly

HH: general we won we can finally have the supplies ariving from fort braneburg

general feriahii: we still have that fort i thought it was fallen?

HH: as they have cuten off any messeging from other generals we took the city by ourselfes but it is also under siege

General feriahii: we will leave at once

we started to pack i already had 200 men in my army a small success but it isnt enough to win the war so we must go to braneburg and keep raising troops i know atleast peasents support our cause and we wont starve to death the empire had a wealth but it doenst matter money now only matters to mercenaries or to buy food from other lands

memories: i alwais disliked the fact that lucas army had only mercenaries he was too lazy to train hes own troops but now i dont regret it now i have advantage of experienced men lucas will be the first of traitors to fall 

HH: we are ready sir but there are 2 villages and 1 another outpost on the way should we visit those?

General feriahii: yes we should then this side of the land will belong to empire again

now we set off to regain our lands and have a normal spot of our empire to rise again

this war wont end fast and it wont be pretty
