Ch 5 - Encounter with Agnus

The letter has a riddle:

I am a demon
Live to kill humans
I kidnapped someone
Someone's friend.

Who am I?

I remember who that demon is. He is the one who kidnapped Kat but I don't know his name. But my answer is accepted and I was transported to the time when my dad,Sparda,and my mother, Eva, were alive. I never saw them before but Wow!!! My dad's a really charming demon and my mom's a real beautiful angel. But I'm not there. Where am I??? Did the guys lie to me that I was their daughter?? No they didn't because I was in the time when I wasn't even born yet. I was looking around when a lady smiled at me. She could see me and she signaled to come to her. I went there and she made me unconscious.

Unconsciously I saw a dream, a real dream. I saw someone angelic talking to me  what happened in the past.

*Story Narration*
Long ago, the angel Eva met and fell in love with the demon Sparda, bearing him three Nephilim that they named Dante , Vergil and Rinë . For the crime of miscegenation between the two races, Sparda and Eva became pariahs and were forced to go into hiding from the forces of the demon king, Mundus. While they were still young, Eva gave each of her children a unique pendant, red(Rebellion) for Dante , blue(Yamato)  for Vergil and violet(Hell-iq-quinn)  for Rinë. Sparda and Eva raised their happy family at their mansion of Paradise, but their days together ended when Mundus's hunters located them, and Mundus himself stormed their mansion. As Eva ran through the house alerting Sparda and her children, Mundus captured her and ripped out her heart, right before Dante's eyes. Sparda went on the run with his children and erased their memories of their childhood in order to conceal them, including those of their mother's death. But Sparda couldn't live that long. Just as he hid them, he was also killed by Mundus. Eva never regretted the love between them but regretted that she never could make her children have a choice. She only described to use the pendant when needed, it will give immense powers of nephilim.

*Over*
Now I get it, why my parents abandoned me. They did it to protect us, the three of us. I never knew that those two were my brothers but now as I know I'll do whatever is right. Dante said that he already killed Mundus's spawn, so I believe he is at rage by now. This is my time to finish him off and avenge their death. But now I need to find Kat. I run across the place and then finally I reach the destination. I saw Kat captured in a jelly like thing and at the side that demon.

"You didn't introduce yourself, Demon."

"I am Agnus. Working in s-s-secrecy and very few are p-p-privy to my existence."

"Why is that??? You don't leave anyone after they know you?"

"Your smart enough Daughter of Sparda."

"My name is Rinë and let her go!!!"

"I won't. You come a step forward and I'm going to k-k-kill her in front of you."

"F-f-fine."

I see my pendant glowing and when I take my hand forward, the Yamato comes to me and I throw it in a slow motion. The Yamato releases Kat, while I kill Agnus off. Then when she is released I grab her.

"You okay Kat?"

"Yeah."

"Then let's leave."

I say it to her as we are transported in the car. We come out and run towards the Order. We saw that everything's normal and the time has been unfreezed.

"You both okay?"

Tears shedding from my eyes, I hug both of them. I never thought that I'll have brothers like them but as I got them, my heart fills with joy.

"Why are you hugging us, Rhea?"

"Vergil brother, stop calling me Rhea. My real name is Rinë."

"Bro.... She remembers it!!!"

"Yes she does.."

"Guys, sorry to stop the family
re-union. But now we need to kill Mundus, because only then you three can avenge their death."

"Rinë, Vergil, I already killed Mundus's unborn child so he must be pissed off now."

"But we can't kill him until we close the Hell Gate."

"So, we need a perfect plan??"

"Yeah, so tomorrow morning 6 am at the gate."

"Sure to go.."
